We had stayed at the Comfort Inn in the past and fondly remembered our interaction with Peter at the front desk. This time, Peter was there in the morning. I don't think I have ever got better service at a hotel or at any store than Peter gives. He is helpful and treats you as an exceptionally valued customer. Thank you Peter for making our stay memorable again!
This hotel is very well run, the front staff was very helpful with our questions regarding good places to eat in the neighbourhood, and the room was very clean. The hotel is centrally located and the free parking was a nice perk, I would gladly stay here again.
Comfort inn This is by far the biggest rip off I've seen. After the CSR swiped my card,. they said they need to take a $100 deposit for any damages to the room. They wouldn't let me inspect the room for pre existing damage. I had friends from Singapore stay in the room, Father and daughter. They have strict rules in Singapore in regards to tidiness and made NO DAMAGE to the room. After they checked out, I was charged and extra $100 for damage. Do not go here, they are GARBAGE!
I stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Surrey, BC for three nights in July 2019. I was here on a family vacation with my wife and three children. We stayed on the 4th floor. The room was impressively clean. The beds are soft and comfortable. There is an LCD TV, bureau of drawers, mini-fridge, and writing desk. The interior looks modern. The temperature in the room is easily adjustable with a wall thermostat that controls an AC/Heat pump. The hotel was quiet, even on the weekend. There was ample parking in the lot. The location is convenient to the Fraser Highway, but not so close as to have road noise. The hot breakfast is well-staffed and well-stocked. The kitchen keeps bringing out fresh scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. They have self-serve waffle iron stations, toast, bagels, muffins, and pastries. There is coffee and a selection of juices (apple, orange, cranberry). They also have a variety of yogurts and granola, cranberries, and sunflower seeds for toppings. Of course, there is cold cereal or instant porridge for those who prefer a simple breakfast. They had fresh fruit, too: bananas, apples, and plums. The best part of my stay was the friendly staff. I went down to breakfast and one of the employees, Ismael, recognized me from my last stay. That has to be from two years ago, or more. What a memory he has! Give that man a bonus! It felt wonderful to be welcomed back by him -- it felt like coming home again.…
Perfect base to explore from just outside Vancouver. Very friendly and welcoming staff during our 3 day stay - from reception to breakfast to housekeeping staff. The rooms were clean and tidy and quite large - ask for a 4th floor room to enjoy the mountain view (ish) - there was a good selection at breakfast and it was kept well stocked at all times - if the weather is nice breakfast on the outside patio is the way to start the day - free parking and lifts to all floors - shops and places of local interest not far away with the reception staff always available with advice and guidance. Next door is a sports bar serving reasonably priced food served as well.
