I NEVER leave poor reviews but with this one I believe potential guests should be forewarned. It's hard to find one good thing about my experience at the Covered Bridge Inn, aside from the lovely lady who checked me in. The room smelled so terribly of old carpet, cigarettes and god knows what else that I had to sleep with...

I didn't really expect too much when coming here. I would have been satisfied with just a small room and a bed, as Sussex was the starting point for a bike tour I was doing. But the room was quite large! Two beds. The shower looked brand new and the bathroom was a good size in general. Aside from the...

This motel was so nice. Our room was on the side so maybe it was a newer room. It was a big room with a kitchenette. Comfortable bed and nice clean bathroom. A stream runs through the back of the property, very nice. It's on a main street but it was quiet enough to leave a window open. I highly...

Good location near the Trans Canada as a stopping point on your way to or from Nova Scotia or the USA . Sussex is also nice town with all you need if just passing through . This is really a nice small motel, not an "inn" . The "newer" units with the kitchenettes are best to try to get ....

Stayed at the Covered Bridge Inn for 3 nights while visiting a school friend in Sussex. Our room was spacious, clean, bathroom updated and spotless, kitchen area with full size fridge was great to keep drinks cold and make breakfast in the morning. Free WiFi, handy parking outside the room which is the beauty of a motel! Staff were friendly...

I was traveling by motorcyle to Nova Scotia. I travel a lot for business, with the company footing the bill, so I usually stay at one of the Marriott properties. This time, every dollar spent was mine, so I was looking for a room with the basic requirements and no more. This little motel is not the Marriott, nor does...

Ewww, gross! I got stuck having to stay here as the area NICE hotel was full for the first night of my business trip. Small rooms, drive up to the door old style, dated everything. Cheap yes, but makes you feel like you are on welfare or if you are American, SSI. Only good thing is that Pizza Delight is...

This motel's main attraction is the price. I was there for 2 nights. The double rooms are an ok size and have a kitchenette (in mine, some of the circa 1970 dishes / cups were old and stained...I'm pretty sure previous guests just rinsed them out and staff has never looked at them in years...ew). The carpet in my room...

My husband and I and my sister and brother in law stayed at this hotel our last night in Canada. We had wanted to find a room in Alma but left it too late so we basically found this motel in Sussex online at the last minute. I was skeptical but it was only one night so we took it....
