Hi there it's Merth from the Bramowitz's, Just wanted to report what a wonderful time we had last summer when we stayed in Haliburton at Kashaga lodge. When we booked I know we were a little uncertain because we are "city folk" and we have never been up north before. Besides our usual vacation to Orlando every march brake, we...

Thanks to Ken for another AMAZING weekend. The ATV trails seem to get rougher every spring, but the ten of us will be back again in October in the six bedroom cottage for our annual fall ATV adventure. The cottage is more like a house than a cottage. It’s even got a dishwasher and big flat screen TV. The kids...

This August will be our third summer of renting the six bedroom cottage. We bring our own ski boat for the week and spend a LOT of gas money on tubing. But thankfully the kids seem to enjoy playing with the kayaks and canoes. My six year old caught her first fish ever last summer (a muskie of all things,...

I stayed in a lodge suite for 15 weeks in the fall of 2009 while taking a course at the Haliburton School of the Arts. Compared to any of the accomodations of some of the other students I met, Kashaga Lodge was amazing. Private…quiet…my own kitchen and bathroom… high speed internet…beautiful lakefront property…and just a 5 minute drive from the...

We’ve been ATVing from the Kashag cottages at least once a year for about 5 years. Usually we rent the six bedroom cottage, but we’ve stayed in most of the lodge suites as well. The accomodations are ideal for us. We usually make breakfast in the cottage, pack a trail lunch, ride for the day, then come back to the...

Black mould all over the walls. Holes rotten through shower walls. Stinky. Disgusting. Absolutely filthy. I had to sleep in my car. The place should be levelled. Beautiful location though.

We have stayed at Kashagaa lodge since the winter of 2006 at least twice a year for ice fishing. We have always enjoyed our stay in this most picturesque of locations, as well as the local hospitality. The owner Ken is a no non-sense down to earth kind of guy who has always been fair with us in terms of...

Owner Ken invited us to ATV on the great Club trails, sold us weekend permits for cash that he pocketed because the ATV club had previously kicked him out. As soon as we had all purchased permits he informed us that all the trails in the area were closed for conservation. No light bulbs, no toilet paper, emergency stairs falling...

TOTALLY not clean enuff for the general public. We nicknamed this the "BATES MOTEL"...ever seen the movie Psycho??....i'd rather book a room there and take my chances! NO hot water, no clean beds, no clean rooms, dog smell and hair everywhere, rusty bathrooms and generally just disgusting. Too bad because the property was nice and the location was good -...
