My wife and I just stayed at the Polar Bear's Club on Jan 10th. We booked a loft room which included access to the spa. For your information, the regular price of these rooms are 250-300$ a night but we got a deal on tuango. What a disappointment, although the room was very big, it was clearly outdated. Also a...

It's an expensive but good experience. It would have been better if it was salt water rather than chlorine. The change rooms are very small and uncomfortable and you need to shower in cubicle then walk out to get dressed in another. They did however provide hair dryers which was a bonus. The visit is worth $20 not $60. Make sure...

Hello Ruby Thank you for taking the trouble to write. One of our 6 pools is a salted one, it is the one located next to the wooden sauna. We also have two locker area. We do provide hair dryers, shampoo, rinse and body lotion in the locker rooms, our changing room are wide and comfortable and are standard size...

It was a cold day, so the cold pool were at 15 degree, and the river was a 1 degree, alot of people in the whirlpool! I took an hour massage, very relaxing!! The river right beside us, is the beauty of the hole relaxation!! Found a 2 for 1 coupon at Baton Rouge, so ended up saving 50$

Hello Michele T Thank you for writing. Yes the river is cold at this time of year. It feels great tough to jump in the river after going into our Nordic wooden sauna. We keep it around 101 Celsius. It such an experience.. staying in in the sauna as long as you can and then jump into the river...Invigorating and...

We use to love going to the Polar Bear Club, but after this visit I will not make the drive again from Montreal. We went on ThanksGiving Monday, and the place was over-crowded and dirty. Unlike some similar spots in Montreal, they don't prevent people from hogging chairs for the day. We had nowhere to sit, and were surrounded by...

My girlfriend and I have visited my spas. Polar Bear Spa really is unique due to it's location and surroundings. The site is situated on a prestine location, with a natural river along the site . This gives you a natural outdoor Spa experience. The river boasts crystal clear water with both a calm shallow area and rushing massaging section...

It's the second and the last time I have visited this establishment. I am not going comment on charges for towels, water and padlocks... I don't like nickling and dimming but that's their business strategy. Once we arrived first question we were asked if we want massage, not how are you or is this your first time, do you know...

I went on a week day, not to many people, which was perfect! The staff was really nice and friendly, they made sure we were comfortable at all times. It was really peaceful, clean and the views were gorgeous. Yes the staff was all over the place putting more loggs and arranging this, but i did not feel that it...

The spas and saunas are great. We went on a quiet weekday so it was easy to get around, relax, etc. Location is nice but I agree that some of the areas within the complex have awkward views over Highway 15. In most places, you won't notice but around the "Cave", it really pops up. You do need to bring...

My girlfriend and I have been to a lot of spas but this one was by far the worst of all in our opinion. The stations are really far apart which makes it a really bad choice during wintertime. The silence zones were not silence at all and the staff did nothing about it. There's people chatting everywhere and you...

My boyfriend and I love to go to here. It's very beautiful and we love to soak in the cold stream and get back in the sizzling hot dry sauna. But after 2 years, the steam sauna smells very funky and even though main changing room got renovated, there still are not enough showers to handle all rush hour traffic....

Hi, We are very sorry that your experience did not fill your expectations. For the steam sauna, we had a problem with the steam diffuser and with no steam it is possible that the smell is not always good. The problem is now fixed and the sauna is in full function. For the showers, I don't know if you are...

The Polar Bear's Club Spa Hotel: A part of our heritage in the Laurentian Mountains! In 1964, the Laurentian region welcomed the first Nordic Spa in Quebec-The Polar Bear's Club. For more than 50 years, the Polar Bear's Club Spa Hotel has become a true reference in the spa industry and has inspired many spas such as the Scandinave, Finlandais, Balnea, Bota Bota or O'furo by promoting the Nordic spa practice in Quebec. The Polar Bear's Club Spa Hotel is one of the most exquisite spots in the Laurentians. Located in a unique setting, close to the ski hills of Saint-Sauveur Station and the charming village of Sainte-Adèle, its high-end services, rustic architecture, and warm and charming ambiance are the key factors to its long standing success. Upon your arrival, you will instantly realize that you are in an exceptional location, where nature is especially lush and abundant. The Polar Bear's Club is located in an exclusive enchanting area, making it the most authentic Nordic spa in the Laurentians. Dramatic views of the Simon River spanning endlessly from north to south and the exhilarating sound of rushing water bursting from natural waterfalls will convince you that this is the best place to re-energize. The Polar Bear's Club was originally built with only a few small changing stations and one sauna. Today, modern installations are scattered throughout the premises, including two thermal pools, two dry saunas, two steam baths, five outdoor heated therapeutic whirlpool baths, two waterfalls, and secure access to the river, relaxation rooms, terraces and on-site lodging. Not to mention the warm welcome you'll receive at the reception area.
