There is little I can add to the other reviews. The house was fascinating, our room complete with grand piano was lovely and very comfortable, breakfasts were good, and Stan was an amazing host. The location is in the suburbs which had initially put us off but it turned out to be great fun taking the tram in to the... More

We stayed at the Glendalough B&B for 3 nights in March. You can't beat the value. Stan and Toni are such wonderful hosts they made us feel like it was home. Spacious bedrooms and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Stan had wine with us in the evening and is such a wonderful person. We would love to go back to... More

We stayed at Glendalough for 4 nights during the Australian Open. It has been a memorable experience in positive sense. The B&B is so nice, including our room with a grand piano. Our lovely host Stan made us a good breakfast in the morning and offered us wine in the evening. It felt like home. Stan, thank you so much,... More

A quiet comfortable bed and breakfast with fascinating decor. Stan was a wonderful host who guided us on the 'must see' places in Melbourne enabling us to fill our short stay at Glendalough. The frequent trams were a short walk away enabling us to travel around easily and Stan collected us from the airport and took us back which is... More

Thanks to some excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, I thought I'd book an overnight stay at the Glendalough on my way to a conference in Adelaide. What a wonderful evening and morning I spent with my hosts. I highly recommend this B&B for friendly and courteous service, lovely rooms and great location (in the "burbs"but that has to be part... Can only reiterate what other travelers have said- lovely home, great hosts, good location (maybe half way between town and airport & good transport links). Would have loved to stay longer & chat to our hosts more - the eclectic decor only hints at a well travelled life. At the airport the next day my 8 year old suddenly piped... More

Period home with fantastic hosts that are a wealth of information and unbelievably accomodating. Great rooms and outstanding breakfasts and availability of extras. Close to tram lines a great local pub and the Victoria Market. The value for the accomodation is unbelievable. Near to parks, bike trails and an easy drive to the airport.
