Gwinganna has 2-day, 3-day, 4-day, 5-day and 7-day programs. Having never done anything like it before, I decided to throw myself into the deep end and do a ‘7-day Spring Detox program’. As someone who likes staying up at night and likes staying in bed in the mornings, I thought the 5.20am/.5.30 am ‘Good Morning’ knocks at the door would...

Gwinganna isn't something I would go to every month, however I found it to be a really valuable experience in terms of the relaxation and grounding it gave me. It was a blissful and luxurious weekend filled with many activities of sunset walks, to enjoying the spa daily. I would recommend trying the retreat out if you enjoy nature and...

On a recent Business Chicks Chill out weekend to Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat, I met some amazing women. Gwinganna staff were so comforting and inspiring. The organisation of the resort is second to none. There was so much to do or so little to do. Wahtever your heart and body desired. I have never tried Yoga or Pilates. They were great....

It wasn't what I expected. If there is one big flaw of the retreat it is that the website doesn't really convey the experience you are going to have. I thought I would be lounging around, doing a bit of yoga and generally relaxing but the retreat program was very activity driven. However you don't have to do anything you...

Dear Claire C Thank you for your review which gives people a comprehensive evaluation of your own experience at Gwinganna. The website does have a lot of detail so it’s often challenging to gather all the information that relates best to you and your stay. As you said, it’s always up to each guest how much or how little they...

I was looking forward to spending a weekend away from my busy family life to get some much need rest and relaxation and catch up on some work in my own time with no interuption. Going to Gwinganna for this was a BIG mistake. This is a lovely retreat in the heart of Tallebudgera with beautiful surroundings however this is...

We stayed at Gwinganna for their 3 day `reviver' retreat, and felt revived and relaxed after 3 days of amazing organic food, exercise, treatments, steaming and tai-chi on the hilltop watching the sunrise over the ocean. The food is diverse and delicious with vegetarian options and heathy morning and afternoon tea daily. Gwingana grow some of their own vegetables -...

This is something that I should've done for myself sometime ago. I recently did the spring detox, seven days of really truly looking after myself, which wasn't possible without the amazing staff at Gwinganna. I wasn't sure what to expect but I truly had an amazing time, the food, the location and the spa are all wonderful. I loved the...

I loved Gwinganna, it is truly a beautiful property, with great staff. The spa is divine. The Triple S program - "Sleep, sugar, stress" was great - except BE PREPARED if you are a coffee drinker. There is no coffee, no tea, no caffeine at all. Perhaps I didn't read the pre-course paperwork very well, and I believed the assurances...

Dear Julia2600 Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat. We are delighted you enjoyed so much of your experience and of course sympathise with your experience of a caffeine withdrawal headache. The program you attended focuses on improving sleep, understanding and reducing sugar and ways to manage stress. Caffeine is a saboteur in...
