We enjoyed one night in the Charlotte Corday room when travelling through the Loire region. The room was beautiful and very peaceful. A delicious breakfast was served outside on the terrace with fresh fruit from the orchard. Our hosts, Eric and Michel, were both super friendly and gave us a tour of the beautiful garden after breakfast, it is clear...

Mein Mann und ich haben 6 Tage im Pavillon de Vallet bei Asrid und ihrem Mann Christian verbracht. Selten haben wir einen so schönen Aufenthalt währen des Urlaubes erlebt. Haus und Garten - ein Traum. Unser Zimmer-Virginie- war geräumig, stilvoll passend zum Alter des Hauses eingerichtet! Astrid war eine temperamentvolle, aufmerksame, kommunikative und liebenswerte Gatgeberin, ihr Mann Chrisitan, eher ruhiger...

A bit away from the road to Boissière, the hamlet of Vallet stands as witness to an interesting past:"LE PAVILLON DE VALLET".This old manor house, dating from the late seventeenth century, full of charm and character, is situated along the Cher River, overlooking the river, the park and the surrounding hillside. Facing the yard a " petit jardin de Curé "(a small French, medieval style, herb and vegetable garden) and a stone staircase that ascends to heaven ... supported by several niches, one has a well with its winch, the other a sink and a small oven that some people say it was used by the clergymen who have lived in Le Pavilion long ago to produce wafers...?
