It is, as others write, a modern B & B, with each room beautifully decorated. However, at breakfast, the host was aloof and unfriendly, which put a chill on things. We got the feeling he really didn't want to be a part of the Bed and Breakfast gambit. Enough said.

This is a very modern B&B with "New England" charm. We had the top floor Garrett room for the three of us so there are a lot of stairs to get up there. However the view from the bedroom was fabulous. The hosts are very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. They seem to get a lot of repeat business...

This was our second visit to the Seacliffe. Every room is comfortable and well decorated. There are a lot of stairs if you are in the Garret but the view is worth it! Briggs is gorgeous. Make sure you tour the town in detail. Great hosts, great meals, outstanding comfort. Seagulls will screech you up in the morning.

In contrast to nearby Cupids, Brigus is a neat little hamlet of picturesque cottages with a beautiful wee harbour, great views out to sea, and a secret tunnel dug for the famous Captain Bartlett (of the Peary expedition to the North Pole). It's just great to walk around here, and have a nosh at the North Street Cafe (see my...

This is a beautiful B&B, well appointed with lovely views of the Atlantic. We stayed 2 nights in the spacious Garrett Room. The only drawback was the claw foot tub- we prefer a shower. Otherwise perfect. Great patio for seating as well as comfortable indoor common space. Donna & Ted were helpful and gracious hosts. Wonderful breakfasts every morning with...

We found the hosts of the Seacliff helpful and accommodating, the rooms spotless and comfortable and appreciated the attention to detail with the decor of each themed room. The reason I have not rated the B&B higher is because of personal preference only. The house is very new, so without any historical charm. I choose B&Bs for the quirkiness and...

I will start saying this is a nice place to stay. Great view, etc, etc. The reason I'm writing this review do is because I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by the owners. It was 10:00 and we were having a glass of wine, playing crib on the patio. I went inside to go to my room to go...

Seacliff offers lovely rooms, fabulous view, gracious hosts, delicious breakfast and interesting guests. Brigus is a charming small town, delightful walks exploring the town and seacoast area. Perchance Theatre in nearby Cupids offers exceptional entertainment, professional Shakespearean repertoire and variety of music and comedy.

We had the Root Cellar room. It was located in the basement and was beautiful. The basement is a sitting room for all guests but we had it to ourselves. Also there is a private entrance to the basement. The home is beautifully located on the shores. Stunning view. Breakfast was yummy. Donna recommended a great restaurant in Cupid which...

This b&b is ideally situated right on the water overlooking the bay. (We even saw an iceberg in the harbour) Our room was modern and comfortable and our hosts Donna and Ted were most welcoming. We had a nice room and enjoyed a good nights sleep. In the morning Donna gave us a full hearty breakfast and gave us information...

“All the rooms are lovely, but we felt the root cellar room was the best value. Despite its name, it has an ocean view and we awaoke to an amazing sunrise. Also it opens directly into a livingroom on the bottom floor giving the illusion of being larger then it was.”
