The real draw here is being close to the slopes. The Village Inn has that, but you pay the price. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The walls were thin enough to hear voices next door, but not thin enough to hear what was being said. The plows and other equipment were active in front of our window from 3am...

We went into the office to check in on Xmas Eve and the attendant was beyond rude. He did not say hello, welcome or one word that was pleasant. He cut us off when we tried to say anything (like how to spell our name), and then went on to list all of the "nots" do not smoke, cook, park...

The hotel room was very clean and quiet. The refrigerator in the room was a big advantage over the hotels inside the Park as my wife and I have special diets and cannot eat restaurant food. The hotel was also right next to the gondola ride to the top of Crystal Mountain. The view from there was spectacular. The only...

I can say that I had a really awesome time at the location but the actual hotel itself was somewhat outdated and the rooms weren't the best. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect though and i can truly say that I has a good time.

We stayed in room 403, the 400 series rooms are one floor above registration. There is no elevator. Our room had a balcony with a view of Shuttle Parking Lot B. There are woods and a mountain beyond the parking lot but there is an awful lot of parking lot in the foreground. The room was clean, the queen bed...

We were guests on the last night of the summer season and some of the items on the menu, such as the lamb shank, were no longer available. However, the tapenade hors d'oevre was delicious and the burgers quite special.

We stayed here in August 2016 on a trip to climb Mt. Rainier. The room was small, but clean and perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was a big plus! We will definitely come back.

The big pluses for the Village Inn are the price, the friendly staff and the location. The rooms are a little small and in need of renovation, although clean. The day we arrived back at the motel after our hike, about 4pm, our room had not been serviced.

Not as nice as we had hoped, a tiny room, and besides great service at breakfast and a quick response to an issue with our room, this isn't a place to write home about. A modest breakfast is included. Fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, coffee and orange juice. I am sure if here in winter for...

It's only a short walk across the parking lot to the restaurant and the lifts. Great vistas from the rooms one the west side, still a nice view from the backside as well. As I said, it's a bit dated but that doesn't mean it's any less charming. Certainly worth what we paid for it for a two-night getaway. Simple...
