Actually stayed early in 2013 with a friend (but unable to select that date as doing the review so late). The owner was very welcoming and we had the lovely large lounge to ourselves over tea. There was a problem with heating and so our room was upgraded - only concern we had was that it wasn't possible to lock... More

My Wife and I visited The Cherries back in August 2014, for a short break. We felt completely relaxed and comfortable from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Our room and bathroom were fresh and light, and of a good standard and everything we would hope for from a private B&B. The breakfast was excellent... More

We booked three rooms for a family funeral only to find that the owner had cancelled two of them without notifying us. By the skin of our teeth we found the last three rooms in another hotel, paid more and had to no show at a resaraunt booking because of this awful b&B

We spent just 3 nights with Teresa and Jason, wished it could have been longer. They really do have you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. We slept so well, lovely room with all the conveniences you would expect. Breakfast was fresh, to order and served whenever you wanted. The garden with its menagerie was a great... More

Where to start! We had the warmest of welcomes and were really made to feel at home. As other reviewers have mentioned, Teresa & Jason are totally genuine and friendly people. Nothing was too much trouble and they were wonderful with our daughters 3.5 & 2 who revelled in the attention and loved the menagerie! First class breakfast and we... More

Teresa and Jason are excellent hosts; hard working and very easy going. The breakfast is 1st class and I suspect the evening meals (to be pre-booked) would be equally so. With a hot tub, chickens, a duck, a quail, a dog and a cat and a large quirky and stylish lounge this must be a particularly good place to stay... More
