We stayed for two nights in the wonderful Cabin. We were enroute between Kamloops and Jasper, with the intention of visiting Wells Gray Provincial Park. The cabin was a great find. Very cosy and comfortable with amazing views across the valley in a most peaceful setting, yet close to the small town of Clearwater with supermarket and restaurants. We took...

The beauty of staying at a B&B is that you get to interact with the owner, and as a foreigner, you get to taste a bit of the culture. Ron was an amazing host. We extended our stay by a night just so we could extend one of our best experiences. An amazing amazing breakfast! If they still have the...

We only stayed for one night at this fantastic B&B. Shauna and Ron were very hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were huge and well equipped. You can also use the lounge, the patio and a hot tub.

We stayed only one night on route from Penticton to Jasper. We wish we had booked two as this would have given us a whole day to explore the local provincial park, which we learnt from Ron, our host, includes an abundance of waterfalls. Sadly we only had time to visit Spahats Fall which was amazing. Ron & Shauna were...

What a fabulous guest house. We stayed in the cabin which is separate from the main house. The cabin was spotlessly clean and cosy. It overlooks the valley and is so peaceful. There was even a BBQ which we made use of as it made a pleasant change from eating out on our travels and staying in hotels. The grounds...

What a lovely house Ron and Shauna have in Clearwater. We stayed for two nights with our 18 year old daughter and were so happy that we picked Canadian Bear Guesthouse. The accommodation was very comfortable and next to our room there was a lovely lounge with a big TV for us to catch up with the news on in...

We were crazy enough to do a two-week road trip with our 8-month-old through Alberta and BC in early June. We expected Clearwater to be just a pit stop and the Canadian Bear guesthouse to be just a "bear" necessities cabin, but it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! The guesthouse is a wonderfully cozy log cabin....

No, Stewart isn't the human owner of this lovely home. Stewart is the furry type of innkeeper. Don't be fooled by his laid back attitude..he is a great host! He and his people make you feel welcome and very comfortable during your stay. We had one of the rooms downstairs which has a sitting room and mini kitchen. Everything is...

Ron made us feel very welcome throughout our 2 night stay at the end of May. Stuart, was also a delight! If you are staying in Clearwater to visit Wells Gray, the B&B is located right at the start of the entrance road, which is very handy. It is also not far from the supermarket and the handful of restaurants...
