we went out to Creston to look at a property and needed a pet friendly hotel. stopped here, $20 charge for pets, which was fine. owners are extremely nice. room was dated, found some alive and dead bugs in the room, room was otherwise clean. the owners loaned us two spoons so we could have cereal in the morning. pool...

When traveling in the hot Kootenay summer, the pool is a refreshing feature, especially mid day. The pool is always clean. LOL - and they have rooms too: comfy beds, attractive rooms, handy to everything in town.

Arrived at noon pool was out of order. Spoke to the staff there was confusion on my reservation but told everything was fine come back at 3. Back to get room and staff kept talking about the reservation being wrong. Twenty minutes later I told her that was an issue for her and the travel agency could we just get...

Wasn't sure how the night was going to fair from the view pulling in, but was pleasently surprised. Although it's an older motel, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very friendly staff and loved how I could park the bike right outside the room ( never stayed in a motel before). Although close to the highway, noise...

A basic motel with fridge and TV free wifi. Swimming pool is under renovation and ice is available for purchase at the office. Our queen sized bed was comfortable with clean sheets and pillow cases. Clean and comfortable with very friendly owners.

A large group has stayed at this motel for several years on our way up the lake to Kokanne Springs. It has certainly changed over the years. The rooms seem dirty, and the pool is not functioning and seemingly in disrepair. We all agreed that this will be the last year for the Sunset, considering there are better options for...

It was a perfect stay for us; friendly staff, clean, great price. What more could you want. (Actually the pool was out of order- which didn't affect us as we weren't planning on using it but you might want to check on that if you want that amenity)

We pulled into the hotel very tired. The rooms are very small and smelt very musty. I have serious allergies and had problems. The Wi-Fi in the room didn't work, the TV's are 22 inch tube television. Ours didn't work initially but started and were advised by hotel that air conditioning caused an issue for the TV. The staff of...

This is a quiet family run motel in a quiet town. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The owners are a wealth of information on local attractions "Goat River" and restaurants in the area. The pool is open in the summer only.

Hotel has been recently updated, and the new owners are trying hard. Every thing was nice and clean, bed was not great. Not fancy, but there aren't many choices in Creston, the market is pretty saturated. We visited in late October, and discovered that even the wineries shut down after Thanksgiving. All of the summer activities were closed. The Magnuson...
