Stayed here on a recent trip, the room was clean, bed was comfortable and the price was good. Recommended for a short stay. There is a Countdown Supermarket just down the road if you need any food, the main centre of Takapuna is a short 5 minutes drive.

I stayed in the 'disabled unit' with my disabled daughter for one night. She is in a wheelchair. The unit has a wet area shower but no shower seat so it was unusable. The mirror was up so high I could hardly see myself in it...she definitely could not and the taps were impossible for her, and me, to turn...

Stayed here when in North Shore for business and available accommodation was difficult to find. Very clean and tidy, everything easy to use and staff friendly and helpful. A lovely walk to French Rondevous for dinner and an easy walk to North Shore Hospital where I needed to be the next day. It's not flash but for the price represents...

Quite dated and the rooms are dark, almost gloomy but it was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Location is great. Walk to the shopping centre and the Lake Not fr from the beach and easy drive to the City.

Looking for a cost effective place to stay on North Shore for one night while attending family wedding, Price is about right @ $120 pn for a studio unit. Limited cooking facilities with a couple of challenges - you only have bathroom basin to wash any dishes you use and the electric kettle did not fit in basin so had...

...if you don't like people? We have stayed here on previous visits, so had no hesitation in rebooking. As always, we 'ph ahead as a courtesy, especially if arriving after a day's travel, to let our hosts for the night know we are on our way. Imagine our dismay at recving a brusque response from the male proprietor, curtly informing...

We really enjoyed our stay, easy to find (Esmonde Rd exit on motorway), Countdown over the road with Sierra coffee (very good coffee), also IE Produce (excellent range of organic foods), shops, eateries just a short walk away down Anzac Ave (great market on Sunday morning). Room at motel absolutely spotless - bathroom like new. Very friendly and helpful hosts....

I go to Takapuna for a seminar yearly, this accommodation was a lovely surprise. The price was in my budget and they kindly let me park there while I attended the seminar. I usually like to try new places to stay, but I think as it stands I would definitely book there again. Keep up the good work.

Easy to find via Google Maps and on the GPS. Spotted it from the traffic lights. Welcome was friendly and information about shops, etc. provided on request. Room spotless although well used. Just off the main road, so delightfully quiet at night. Best priced motel available when researched and a 5 minute walk to the conference venue. Beds firm and...
