Great location to Field and surrounding walks and Mountain pass. Easy access to lake Louise, with quiet mountain surroundings. No city and traffic hassles up here. Staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are basic, so great for travellers/hikers/family's. No good for night life seeking people. Natural setting and views. Highway noise could be problem to some, but its really not...

It’s an odd combination of pluses and minuses ….. Tired looking lodge-style building (I’m sure the harsh winters don’t help !) The bathrooms are really dated – mint green tile and bathtubs; the tubs had plenty of dents that could benefit from some paint to prevent further deterioration. Basic shower curtain, shelf, towel rack, thin (clean white) towels and toilet....

From the moment we arrived at this lodge we felt comfortable at this lodge, A smiling front desk agent checked us in and made sure we are set for the night. Our room with a balcony facing the lake it was clean with good comfortable beds. We researched and knew that original this property had a long history with the...

Little did we know that arriving in the dark at this hotel would be such a treat. Check in was very easy and we had a small busy cosy room waiting for us. The bathrooms could do with a bit of a make-over but for a two night stay they are more than fine, however, for what we paid an...

We stayed at this place for one night at the end of August 2016. There were three of us and we had booked a room with a double and a single bed. This room proofed to be terribly small - we asked for a different room and were moved to a suite. This was a vast improvement. Suite has a...

We stayed 1 night here and the accommodations were comfortable. The wifi was average. There is a restaurant on site that was good. There was not a fridge in the room but the hotel clerk was kind enough to put our leftover dinner in the fridge in the back for us. There is a bar downstairs that we didn't go...

The beds are small and squeeky. Was clean not very roomy. Was a nice enough room, just overpriced. The breakfast was included but not much to eat. The chicken sandwich was good and also the chorizo soup. But the nachos were the worst I've ever had. Not much cheese, what was there was burnt, dried out and over top of...

Keep expectations low and you will be pleased! Lodge was clean but minimal- shows it age. Best for wanting to hike in remote areas and looking for clean place to sleep and shower thereafter. Unplug here.
