What a beautiful place to get away and relax. There were six of us at our chalet this past weekend for a snowmobile trip to Hodges hill. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and everything needed to cook with was there. There were two beautiful rooms and an eight inch memory foam mattress for the third couple which we...

Beautiful chalets tucked away with an amazing view of the Exploits River. The chalets themselves are well appointed with comfy beds, plenty of cookware, a gas grill, use of the outdoor hot tub and an enormous bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub!

The chalets are gorgeous and everything is very well taken care of. The river views are incredible. Sure beats the hell out of a hotel. A fire by the river on a Wednesday night is a great way to relax. I will definitely be staying there again

The cottages were lovely, and roomy A-frames, but they didn't sleep as many as expected. 2 double beds and a mattress for the floor. there were 2 sofas as well, but they didn't pull out. So in a pinch, it could manage 8 maybe, though it was short on bedding for more than 6. That said, they were lovely. Full...

Hi how are you? Thanks for all the nice compliments! I am glad you had a nice time here and on the river. I am curious though as to how many people were at your chalet? We advertise the chalets are comfortable for four (and our prices are based on four) but 6 is possible if people don't mind using...

Absolutely loved this, wish we could have stayed longer. The rafting, the river jumping into the rapids (and swimming), the hot tub, the BBQ and the fire pits in the evening all made this an unforgettable few days. I will definitely be back next year.

We spent a night here on our journey between St John's and Rocky Harbour and it was sensational. We arrived early as my husband and daughters were rafting and we was met by a really friendly team who answered any questions that we had and kitted the family out with their wetsuits ($15 each) but worth it if you feel...

Amazing time with the Rafting newfoundland staff on the river. Pleasure for all people (if you need extreme feeling it's ok, if you need safety for family it's the best place for beginning). The site and chalets is beautiful! Thanks Jason for the opportunity :)

We recently stayed at Riverfront Chalets for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chalets are only a 20 minute drive from our hometown of Grand Falls-Windsor. This was a big reason why we haven’t stayed there before, it seemed “too close” for a getaway. Wrong. When you enter the area you are no longer home, you are at...

Management response:

Wow Jeff! Thanks so much for the wonderful review! Reviews like this certainly make running this resort a pleasure! I hear a lot of people comment that its an advantage to those living in Central to have the chalets close to home....must be true. Folkes from Gander to Springdale certainly keep us busy. I hope to see you this winter...
