Our group of 24 were graciously welcomed for afternoon tea. The tables were beautifully set, gracious host and hostesses. Piping hot delicious tea served with wonderful scones, butter and jams. We also had fruit dishes of a variety of summer fruits. The B&B was just sold so the old owners were there training the new owners, so we had four...

The owners are so nice. The rooms are clean and roomy. We have a lot of our friends stay here and are never disappointed. The breakfasts are to die for. You are made to feel like you are part of the family.

Rooms were decorated to a theme, ours was empress of india. Very ornate but not a speck of dust! Bathroom was very spacious and had wonderful toiletries. There was a shared sitting room. Breakfast was almost too much - no lunch needed! Free wifi. Hosts Rhonda and Ed couldn't do eough for us. Made us very welcome.

I choose this for location (between Nanaimo and Victoria) and also since it looked unique in the photos. The location was very good but it would be nice to have a water view and more restaurants within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly and helpu and the breakfast was excellent. The unique rooms were all lovely and the beds...

Pulling up to this Bed and Breakfast, it's hard not to make an audible excited squeal. Walk inside, and you will be even more amazed at the beautiful décor, and lovely colors and themes. My friend and I stayed in the China Rose room, and we spent the first half-hour just marveling at the decorations and set-up of the place....

Stayed one night to attend a nearby gathering of friends. Quite, charming, comfortable and spacious with friendly hosts. Breakfast was outstanding. Common areas are inviting and the extra touches for our comfort were lovely. We recommend Hawley Place with Rhonda and Ed as hosts.

We could only stay for one night, but how nice everything was. Beautiful home, welcoming hosts en cosy decorated rooms (3 in total). Comfy beds and free soft drinks if you like. Breakfast was plenty: home made yoghurt with fresh fruit and granola. Croissant with marmalade. A wonderful light soufflé with bacon at the side and a plate of fresh...

I was truly fortunate that my friend who lives in Ladysmith arranged for me to stay with Rhonda and Ed. I Left UK for an extended stay of 6 weeks with them leading up to Christmas and it is the best that I have ever been treated. The time and effort that must have gone into decorating the house for...

The four of us stayed at Hawley Place B&B while we celebrated my parents' 62nd wedding anniversary. Ed and Rhonda could not have been kinder or more welcoming to us all. They fussed over my parents and accommodated our various food whims--and served a delicious and different breakfast every day we were there. The rooms were spotless and filled with...
