Kevin, our host, was amazing. He cooked up a breakfast for us, custom to our liking. the location is perfect, the rooms were huge and immaculate and the bathroom and soaker tub were FANTASTIC!
Most comfortable bedding and fluffy towels I've experienced in a B&B

I'd recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for comfort, cleanliness, location and great service!

The entire B&B was very clean. The suite was decorated in an old south shore port theme which complimented the house’s curb appeal. The overall room was spacious and divided into three areas - main bedroom with a hotel style set up, comfy bed; large bathroom which included dual sinks with plenty of counter space, large soaker tub, rain head shower; small kitchen bar area with microwave, coffee maker, sink and small fridge. There is also a good size closet c/w with hangers and a luggage stand. The location is incredible!!! Park the car and bring your walking shoes as once you step out the door you are in the heart of Lunenburg - restaurants, pubs, shopping, museums, along with a quick walk down the steps to the waterfront. Oops, almost forget to mention the breakfast which was delicious and served in a cafe style kitchen set up. Appreciated the large coffee mugs! This will be a must stay to book if we have a chance to return to Lunenburg.

We absolutely loved our three days & nights at the Sail Inn. Ideally located, immaculately clean and comfortable. This place has the perfect balance between modern amenities and comforts (gorgeous bathroom and soft, high-end linens) with preserved history (original, but refinished, 1850s floorboards!) The owner is a wonderful family and the breakfast delicious and generous. This is an ideal spot!

This quaint B&B is conveniently located near the wharf - perfect for exploring this unique town, right from your door. The owners are lovely and welcoming- we felt well cared for. Breakfast was amazing with smoked salmon, bacon, all the fixings and included a touch of their native fare. All delicious. Our room was clean, updated and charming. Highly recommend.

Excellent location in the beautiful town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. You can walk across the road to the docks and take photos there. The street has many fantastic restaurants to choose from. The room has a really large bathroom with great water pressure and really good linens. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette. It is directly on the street so there is some traffic (my room was number 2) but it did not bother me at all. Very good breakfast and the couple who own it (Kevin and Jade) are so so nice!

Best location in a tiny city. 1 of 4 apartments with 3 parking spaces behind, breakfast served in the half basement. The guided tour of the city by TIFFANY (google) was the highlight of our stay —at $25 bucks apiece. Inside info of the meaning of “the Lunenburg Bump?”. You need to spend $25 and ask Tiffany.

What an awful place. Arrived and found there would be no staff on site and a key would be in the door-which was great security. Parking was limited to the first two cars that arrived early, otherwise you had to find parking on the street where they do ticket after one hour. Room was cold and along with the bathroom had no heat-temperatures were well below normal in N.S. which provided a miserable morning shower. They presented this Inn as a "Bed and Breakfast" however there was no breakfast option at all, and of course there were no staff there to ask what happened to the food...you know, the food that was pictured on their website. The location was good but there are many other options on the same street that are "real" B and B's. Frankly, we were totally ripped off and you should think long and hard about booking here. Maybe BOOKING.COM should check on their offerings more closely.

We stayed at the Sail Inn for one great night in mid July. All reviews have got it covered. Awesome location, large clean rooms with huge bathroom and double sinks. Only "downside" to the bathroom in the high step ups to the tub. Could be a difficulty if one has some mobility issues. Parking is a little tight, but regular vehicles aren't an issue. Glad to have free spot available. Breakfast is ordered as you like it the night before as well as your preferred time slot. Self check in was simple. We even called the manager to see if we could check in early. Our call was answered and it worked out we were able to come in a bit early. Would highly recommend staying at this great little spot.
