Overall a nice B&B. Lynn an John were very welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. This is a beautiful old mansion within walking distance from Main street. Our room was decorated for the period and quite functional. The breakfast was family style with a variety of dishes and friendly chatter. The sitting rooms were quite grand but underused by the other guests....

A cut above. We have stayed in many B&B's and have never been in a better one. From our most knowledgable hosts, the history of the house itself, it's great location with wonderful views, to the breakfast that is beyond all expectations, you will be very impressed. As were we. Many thanks to Lynn and John for this great experience.

Our room was beautiful, the food was delicious and the hosts were gracious. I can't wait to return to Lunenburg and Ashlea House will be my #1 choice for accommodations. We had a great time listening to stories told by the homeowners, and it was obvious that they cherish their home and their little town.

We spent two nights--October 14 and 15th--in the Cottage Room. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was delightfully delicious with a different full and plentiful menu each of the two days. We enjoyed the interaction of Innkeepers Lynn and John whose help with planning our days was very much appreciated. Their advice for restaurants and touring the area...

While we have not stayed in many B&B's everything about this stay was wonderful...friendly greeting by John (the Innkeeper) explaining the house and how things work at the B&B. Our room was one of the smaller ones but inviting with no issues. Next morning we enjoyed a delightful communal breakfast with other guests hosted by Lynn (the Innkeeper). Great food...

This B&B, housed in a beautiful historic house, offered us a very large room with a comfortable bed and private bath. Our hostess, Lynn, was very welcoming and made some great suggestions for what to see in Lunenburg and the area. Best of all was the fantastic breakfast -- fritata, fried potatoes, blueberry pancakes, sausage, a spicy cabbage dish, fruit...
