Bob and Rose are lovely, lovely hosts and the historic building is really something. Our room actually had an antique radio that worked! The location is excellent for exploring the downtown, and it's right on the road to Blue Rocks (a must-see just a few miles out of town). We had a very comfortable stay, and Bob's breakfast quiche ranks... More

This is one of Lunenburg's historic houses, so don't expect tons of modern touches -- that's not the point. It is well located to the center of Lunenburg, the owners are friendly, helpful and incredible cooks (French toast stuffed with bananas... fresh fruit...a little bunt cake for the road). When in Lunenburg, don't miss the kitchen party a few blocks... More

Right away we struck up good conversations and started teasing back and fortb, had a great time. Bob's cooking... More

We spent two nights at Greybeards's and enjoyed it. The Inn is clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient to downtown Lunenberg. The hosts are very nice people and made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts are very knowledgeable about the town.

Bob and Rosanna are charming people who made us feel at home. The rooms are quite confortable, the breakfast is the best we had on this trip. Walking distance from everything. Lunenburg is so lovely, we ended up extending our stay.

This was the best breakfast we had on our whole trip through Nova Scotia. First fruit, then a herb quiche and for desert a whole small blueberry bread. We even got a ziplock bag to pack the rest of the cake. The house is historic and amazing. The room was good, but two flights of stairs up. The hosts told... More

We stayed with Bob and Rosanna in June 2013. They are charming people who made us very welcome indeed. Bob's breakfast in the morning was superb and it was a nice gesture to be given a Zucchini bread to take away to enjoy for lunch after we left (it was delicious - one to try out at home (the recipe... This place is relatively low-priced (for lunenburg) and is beautifully located. We stayed on the top floor in a lovely decorated room. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the bathroom was a little bit small. The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were very friendly!
