This is a fantastic place to stay. Chris is a real charmer and her place is really great. Comfortable room, clean and nice. Steam shower was an unexpected awesome luxury. Great enthusiasm and recommendations for places to go in town. We had a drink and an app at The Knot, not to be missed. Had dinner at the Trattoria but...

This was the first ever B&B my husband and I stayed in and we were not disappointed! Beautiful building, great hosts, amazing food. Addington Arms has it all. When we arrived we were greeting by Chris who showed us to our room, it was beautiful! We were in the Flying Jib room. It had everything that you would need including...

Addington Arms was our first B & B on our trip to the Maritimes, and we were more than thrilled. Chris warmly welcomed us when we arrived and took us to our room, The Flying Jib. We were immediately in awe with the overall decor and size of the room. From the deep purple walls to the brass canopy bed,...

I have travelled an awful lot and stayed at many B&Bs, but this B&B had a wow factor. The room (Flying Jib) was larger and better decorated than I had imagined. It also had a nice view of the harbour. I appreciated the old VHS movies and the steamer in the room with both being a B&B first for me....

This was our second stay at Addington Arms and not our last! Chris is a wonderful host and makes you feel like family. The rooms are amazing and cater to your every need with books, movies, beach towels, steam shower and most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. On top of all this the gourmet breakfast is out of...

Recently we spent three beautiful days at the Addington Arms under the hospitable care of Chris and Dan. We had a spacious, lovely suite, complete with a view of Lunenburg Harbor and refreshing steam bath! Breakfast was different each morning and equally delicious and abundant every day. Conversation with other guests at the breakfast table was stimulating and enjoyable. Chris...

On a recent visit to this wonderful seaside town we had the opportunity to find this great little inn. The service provided to us by the owners was absolutely above reproach. From making reservations for us at local restaurants to the most welcoming atmosphere of the inn was above and beyond of what we expected. The added attraction of a...

After driving the Lighthouse Route down through Chester and Mahone Bay, we thought things could not get any prettier until we hit Lunenberg. We had two nights at the Addington Arms in Lunenberg, and we easily could have done a couple more. Chris and her husband are very helpful on the sights, and fabulous cooks to boot! Breakfast starts with...

We returned a week ago from our first trip to Nova Scotia. We stayed at 4 inns, and Addington Arms wins for the following categories: Best Breakfast; Most Accommodating; Friendliest; Cleanest; Best Amenities; Comfort; Location; Most Professional (but in an easy going way). Very short walk to great restaurants and shops. The inn has been tastefully modernized without detracting from...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Addington Arms B&B sits atop 2 fine art galleries and atop the six square block historic district of this UNESCO world heritage site, affording ocean views from all of our suites and room. Shopping, dining and exploring are all just steps outside your front door. We are not your typical B&B but more akin to a boutique hotel, with stocked mini fridges, TV's and en-suite steam-rooms with aroma therapy or an air-jet tub in very spacious surroundings. On-site parking is available as street parking is problematic in the summer months. Our breakfasts are as memorable as the town of Lunenburg itself. ... more   less
