We stayed at this hotel this past weekend. The hotel was good, cleanish, and staff were super friendly and helpful! The continental breakfast was great and for the price per night I was happy that it included breakfast! I think 100+ /night to stay at this hotel without breakfast would be way to expensive. The bedding, floor etc was clean,...

We were travelling from Quebec City to Halifax, NS and Woodstock was the half-way point; we arrived quite late and left early so did not use the pool or other amenities. The motel filled our needs quite adequately; the room and beds were comfortable; the main room and bathroom were both clean and odorless. The desk clerk was particularly helpful...

It is great that we were able to meet your needs with our location, cleanliness, price, and service. Perhaps during a future stay you are able to enjoy our indoor pool. Being an older property upgrades are consistently being completed to both the rooms and property.

Clean and odourless. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was toasty warm on a cool fall day. Friendly and helpful staff with maritime charm. Room had coffee maker, mini fridge and a separate mini freezer 3 times the average size, along with a microwave. Room was quiet, with very minimal traffic sounds. Hilltop location with scenic view. Breakfast bar was immaculately...

We were there for 3 nights to visit family and for the price ($90 per night) it wasn't that bad. The bathroom was renovated and the kids loved the pool. We didn't hear our neighbors, obviously a good thing. The only major issue was that while the room was non smoking one could tell it had been in the past....

We are glad that your children had the opportunity to enjoy the indoor pool. If a room does get changed to a non smoking room any material items (ie bedding; curtains, upholstery) would be either steam cleaned or changed out entirely. The room would also be repainted. Our staff are always more than happy to help make your stay a...

We were traveling from Halifax, NS, to Quebec City, and this was the half-way point. The property is ok, but don't expect too much. They have closed their restaurant area and a basic continental breakfast is now served in an odd room in the pool building, and we saw no way that it could be considered accessible. For a night...

We are ideally located and just off the highway as well. There is 4 steps that you do have to go down in order to get to the Contiental Breakfast that is included with your room. We do understand that not all our guests are able to access the free breakfast due to these steps. In that type of scenario...

We stayed there one night for a reasonable price of 100 can$ (incl. Tax) in one of the poolside rooms with a "window" to the indoor pool only (no daylight). Everything looks run down; the place needs urgent and complete renovation. Breakfast in a basement hall is poor. Coveniently located next to hwy 2, but you have to drive 5...

The pool side rooms are not everyone's choice unless they do enjoy the view of the pool. We do have rooms that are not in the main building with windows that allow the natural light in from the outside, of course this is also based upon availability. We are an older property however renovations are consistently being completed. The breakfast...

The hotel, though it had signs outside saying restaurant on premises, does not. The room was reasonably clean but there was a lack of adequate lighting. One dim bulb in the ceiling and a small lamp beside the bed. The continental breakfast served in the room behind the pool filled the gap. It is right beside the main highway so...

At this time we unfortunately do not have a restaurant on site, however there is a sign as you come up the driveway letting everyone know that the restaurant is closed. Most definitely if you are a light sleeper the rooms behind the main building or the Pool rooms would be a better choice. In attempt to conserve energy we...

Our Front Desk is here to help you with any concern, it may have been possible to change your room depending upon availability. If you do choose to come and stay with us again hopefully you will be able to take a moment and enjoy the pool.

This is a stop along the way, not a destination. That being said, the motel was clean and pretty well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful when providing directions or restaurant suggestions. We travel with a dog and there was plenty of grass for her to play. We love staying her because the pool is open until 10, and the kids love the large deep end😃😃😃. It's location is also perfect because it's so close to the highway. We drive from Ont to NS and its seems to be the time when need a rest. We always stay in the A framed cabin and its pet friendly.

We are glad that you and your children were able to take advantage of our indoor pool. Our location does benefit our guests as we are so close to the highway and in many cases the halfway point during their travels. We look forward to seeing you on your next trip.
