Cabins were clean, well equipped, and overall awesome. Friendly staff. Beautiful area. Great trails. Highly recommend checking it out. Would be ideal for a wedding/family reunion or other large gathering. Had a blast!

We stayed 2 nights in the Bill Yearling lodge (the original lodge on the site)! The lodge itself was really cosy and full of history. The resort as a whole occupies a beautiful and remote setting where you can really feel at one with the mountains. We were lucky enough to join a kayaking trip down the Kootenay river with...

Totally exceeded our expectations! Our group of old friends shared this awesome experience. Completely off the grid (mostly) enjoying the gorgeous wilderness of British Columbia. Lyle and Pate were not only excellent guides both on the water and hiking expeditions, but truly exceptional hosts.

When I heard about an 'off the grid' mountain resort, I really didn't know what to expect except that it would be dark, dank and difficult. However, I could not have been more wrong. It was three d's rolled into one...it was delightful. Off the grid, in this case, meant that while they did not bring in electrical power, they...

I was blown away by the location (property nestled in a pristine wilderness made accessible by miles of single tract hiking/running/mountain biking and broader cross country skiing trails), by the accommodations (fantastic cabins well constructed and comfortably appointed), by the meals (good healthy food prepared by the family -- Lyle, Marnie, and Steve), and by the knowledge and expertise of...

Have stayed at Nipika many times and each time Lyle and the team just keep on making it better, from the toiletries in the cabins to the laser etched surround to the camp fire. This time round we stayed in one of the smaller cabins and it really doesn't matter which one you stay in you'll have a great time...

My best friend and I stayed attended the Annual Bike clinic for our 2nd year in a row. The weekend was beyond perfect! We stayed in the Palliser cabin with two other couples on the final weekend of spring skiing in March. Everything about our visit to Nipika was outstanding: beautiful scenery and cabin, very friendly & helpful staff, and adorable dogs (if you ever get tired of Morley, we’ll take her off your hands, Lyle!). We enjoyed cross country skiing, fat biking,...
