We stayed in the Beetoven room which was wonderful with procure terris, clawfoot tub, shower and a full window of a rushing river! Josee our hostess/owner was very accommodating she had a shed to lock our bikes up too.The breakfast was very good with homemade yogurt with granola and egg toast cups with ham.The B&B is just a short walk...

Stayed with five adults, one stop on a 200 km bike trip on the P'tit Train du Nord. What a wonderful location and host. Very clean rooms, unique inn. A beautiful spot directly on the river, so relaxing to sit and enjoy in the back of the inn. The Inn is directly off of the bike path and a 5...

I can't add to what the other reviewers have said, only to emphasize how much we enjoyed this wonderful B&B. The setting is beautiful, extremely relaxing. The owner is very attentive and professional. And the breakfast was terrific.

Five of us stayed here on our last night of a bike trip on the P'tit Train du Nord. We had an excellent stay. The inn is well located, right off the bike path, on a beautiful river and just a short walk into town, which has quite a few nice shops, galleries and restaurants. The owner, Josee, was very...

Reality exceeded the reviews and their web-site. The welcome was warm, the rushing river did not affect sleep, the balcony is charming, breakfast is healthy and wonderful; the only downside for me were the mosquitos who are persistent.

Josse welcomed us, advised us wisely where to eat, shared her home with us, fed us nutritiously and deliciously at breakfast time and answered our questions about the area. We are 6 bikers who felt wonderfully welcome in lovely, homey surroundings. Our beds were comfortable and the family room was an amazing place for relaxing, gaming and enjoying ourselves. A small Inn overlooking a set of rapids of the Rivère du Nord and just off the cycling path at which we shared a lovely few days of hiking, cycling and dining with friends. Picturesque and charming with comfortable, updated rooms and a wonderful, friendly and helpful host. We stayed in the largest room ("Beethoven", complete with a bust of...

We spent one night in the Beethoven Room and it was great. Charming is an over used word, but it describes this place perfectly. Lots of room, balcony, wonderful claw foot bath tub with a shower in the bath. The sound of the rushing North River was sooo relaxing. After breakfast (coffee, homemade granola and blueberries over yogurt, toast cups...

I was looking for a quit place where I could finish in a few days a long overdue report for work. My criteria were very specific : no car, walking distance to the village and restaurants, cross country skiing on the doorstep, Internet access. La maison de Bavière offers it all, including rooms with a view, home made breakfast by...

I stayed at the Vienne studio, which is perfectly sited next to the stream, which flows even in midwinter. The studio has a little patio area that would be lovely in the summer and it has a fair amount of natural light all day even midwinter. The inn is close to town, a short walking distance to the restaurants, manageable...
