We noticed your campground while driving by and glad we stopped in. Will it was great to meet you. You were a big help letting us use your ax and for giving Randy the $2 for me to have a shower. Yes it was a great shower and only used $1. I went by to give it back to you...

A good spot to stop for a rest. Weekends and evenings in summer usually see's some activity. we were there watching older kite enthusiasts at play. A good spot to stop and walk by the beach. Bring a bucket for an early morning stroll on the beach. You might get enough oysters for lunch. A quaint and pretty rail station...

We decided to book a night here for a family camping trip. The sites here very shaded and some have private areas to hang out in.The swimming at the river is great and has diffrent depths to swim.My 18 month old son ran right into the river in the morning without stoping. The kid's park, arcade and showers are a nice touch. The staff...

We stayed in the Cedar cabin which was very good, kitchen, bathroom with shower, queen size bed and round table with two chairs. Nice porch if you had time to sit there. We were very busy visiting with some of our family who were actually camping with their trailer and motor home. Nice trail to walk, close to the river...

'We decided this year we would avoid the crowds and head out of town after the Labour Day weekend, what a great decision. We checked in on a Wednesday and were 1 of only a few sites that were occupied in our area, nice and close to the River. Bathrooms were clean and the covered area with the wood stove...

The management is the best, so friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be going back. We stayed 2 nights but will stay longer next time. It was my husband's birthday and the owner brought his guitar over and sang him Happy Birthday along with some other songs, he was awesome. Thanks for the great stay.

Labour day long weekend and hotels were all booked around town. Picked this place and it's really really rustic. I mean there were spider webs everywhere. I think it's more for the outdoors crowd and not for the hotel crowd. it's advertised as having two beds but really its a queen size bed and an Ikea double sofa bed. It's...

Hi CannyPenny and thank you for taking the time to write review. A couple of things..... our pages on our website clearly state that, two of our cabins have queen size beds with a fold away or pull-out beds, the other having a double bed. Cabins anywhere, being as small as cabin's are, for the most part never have really...

Drive around before making your selection, several other nicer by far places showed vacancies but I booked online, big mistake, $178.00 for a run down old cabin. Wifi was available but only worked in the front office I think, sure didn't work in the cabin, while checking in, others were complaining about it as well. Located 50 yes or so...

Tight back in sites with dirt...no pads. Fire pits are old truck tire rims. The Sani Dump was not working most of the time. Average toilets & showers. At least they had hot water except only cold water in the washroom. This RV park needs serious repairs & updates. It's like camping in the 1950s.

Hi folks, Thank you for your review of our campground. Yes, we are somewhat rustic. In the 4 years Sharon and I have been here, we have refused to pour concrete and cut down tree's in the park. That is one of the biggest reasons why most people love the realism of a true camping experience. I will explain the...
