The Montague Rose has plenty of old fashioned charm with modern touches like a jet tub. The B&B is an easy two-block walk to the waterfront shops and restaurants or the Kingsbrae Gardens. If you're not sure what to do in St. Andrew's, Joe, the owner, can offer plenty of suggestions. Joe is also the chef, and went out of...

I booked this B&B for 3 nights, weeks before we started our east coast vacation and now that we are back home it is without a doubt our favorite place that we stayed in the 2 weeks we were out there. Arriving there, we were met by Joe, the friendly and welcoming owner of this B&B, and were given the...

The Montague Rose deserves the accolades it has received from other reviewers. The spacious and charming Second Empire house has been lovingly and appropriately restored, furnished and decorated (no tchotchkes); our room (the Ballyhaunis) was generous and comfortable; and the bathroom was truly exceptional. The inn is within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops, for which our host Joe...

B&B was great. We arrived and were immediately given a full tour of the living room, dinning room, sitting area and our room. The house was beautiful and our room was very cute with a small sitting area. The room, private bathroom was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was sensational (berries, muffins, eggs benedict). We really appreciated...

We have returned to the montaque rose four times. The proprietors are warm and informative. The rooms are well decorated and very comfortable, the breakfast is much more than one could ask. The breakfast includes home made muffins or scones, fresh fruit and a main dish. Very well done.

Staying at The Montague Rose B&B was an absolute wonderful experience. We arrived rather late - 10 PM - and were greeted with top notch hospitality. Everything was explained accompanied by a tour of the B&B. Accommodation was clean, fresh and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was so pleasant with healthy food choices. This might...

Informative and friendly host. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spotless. It is well located steps from the downtown. A three course breakfast is provided and it is positively delicious. Best bed and breakfast in New Brunswick I think.

The rooms are impeccable and the breakfast is outstanding! The proprietors were also wonderful! The inn is close to the downtown core by walking distance. They allow access to their outside patio in the back where it's common to see dear walking through! Overall a great experience!
