A stay at Kingsbrae Arms is potentially inviting. The hostess is very nice and welcoming on receipt of arrival. After that there is no one on site each dayuntil breakfast. Someone carried our baggage in. No one was available to carry it out at departure. Breakfast is served in the garden. The breakfast served is lovely but the coffee seemed...

The room was clean and large and the appointments and furnishings were attractive and interesting. The housekeeping staff was attentive and responsive. But other than bottled water, and a tiny bag of tiny cookies upon our arrival, the room had no complimentary snacks or beverages. Every premium small hotel I have ever stayed in provides these. Likewise, the toiletries seemed...

Rooms are clean and comfortable but don't expect luxurious rooms or service. Food is terrible. The seafood tasted like it was frozen and here we are on the bay of Fundy! I would never stay here again.

Dear Jill, We strive to work with the freshest seasonal ingredients and are sorry that you were not satisfied with your dinner. We post dozens of pictures of our fresh seafood and hand picked garden produce plates on the Kingsbrae Arms Facebook page and invite others to see for themselves. Best wishes, Harry Chancey, Owner

Was going to comment on the changes at Kingsbrae, but I notice that Diego M is unhappy with them. R&A is over the hill, and Kingsbrae has shucked off its elegant stodginess in favor of a more relaxed, yet still elegant, experience. The staff is no longer imported, but the wine cellar remains in the 90's, and the whole feel...

For the last few years, we have stayed at Kingsbrae Arms on our way to and from Nova Scotia. Originally we stayed just one night, but we found it so delightful, that we now always stay two nights. We find that it is the perfect beginning and ending to our vacation. The food is excellent with many of the vegetables...

On our way back from Prince Edward Island to Bar Harbor, we spent a night at Kingsbrae Arms in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. We had booked one of their less expensive rooms, and were delighted to find how large and comfortable and beautifully furnished it was. All the details were in perfect taste, and the bathroom was good size and...

We had a very enjoyable stay in this charming hotel situated next to a gorgeous public garden in the quaint village of St. Andrews. We were pleasantly surprised by the receptionist cum manager cum waiter(!) with an upgrade to a grand king suite as the hotel was not full. The two room suite was beautifully furnished, had a comfortable bed and...

The kings brae Arms is right next to the gardens and has the most beautiful grounds on its own. We stayed in the main house and our room overlooked the backyard gardens. Our room had a small sitting area with a small electric fireplace that made me wish it wasn't warm outside. Our bathroom was a nice size, the separate...

Our 1st road trip ever - traveling from NYC to Prince Edward Island, Canada. With not much time to research accommodations, we decided to "speed" our research by staying only in Relais & Chateaux (R&C) properties. That is how we came upon the Kings Brae Arms. We were nothing short of astonished when arriving to this perfectly appointed, quiet gracious...

Beautiful Hotel right next to the Kingsbrae Gardens. The staff is extraordinarily accommodating. There is a fantastic restaurant on the property, but you must make reservations in advance, and there is no room service. The rooms are big and tastefully decorated.
