Beautiful, new and clean resort!! Great hospitality and well maintained grounds! Private hot tubs! Large and well stocked kitchens. Only negatives were hard mattresses and difficulty finding based on GPS or directions! Wildlife visible at times.'More

We stayed here for 3 nights and very much enjoyed it. Very clean, very comfortable with lots of sleeping space. It is a ski in ski out which we requested. Not on the main hill, but just off the bunny hill. Worked well for us....More
The condo itself was very nice - stayed 6 in the three bedroom 3 bath and had plenty of room, easily could have fit a couple in the loft - however there were no blinds on the big windows up there. Everything was nice, clean,...More
These units are quite nice. There are a lot of stairs, though, as the units are narrow and tall. Various different balconies to lounge on and your own hot tub. The location is a bit tricky to get back to - seems like the suggested...More

What is the weather like in April typically? Is the resort close enough to do place likes Banff, Glacier Natl Park, etc each in a day?

The ski hill closes early April, and the golf courses open up in May generally. The off season is a great time to do some exploring around the area, so long as you are aware that not a lot of attractions are open at this time. Personally, I much prefer hiking the area before the crowds hit. This year, the weather was very warm and resulted in an early start to summer!
The parks are a few hours drive, so as mentioned by other users, it would limit your use if you were to do a day trip from Kimberley.
