Was just as expected nice clean room close to our travel plans. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would stay again if in the area. It was quiet and close to restaurants and shopping. If you need a room to sleep this is the place. Not a lot of amenities if that is what you are looking for.

Maples Motel is a budget motel so don't expect 5 star accommodation. However, the rooms are clean and importantly the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Rooms have a fridge and coffee making facilities as well as free wifi. We did find it a bit hard to access the wifi on our laptop at first but finally got on successfully.... More

Spent three nights in Room #2 with two sons, a teenager and a toddler, after driving to Orillia from Alberta. Typical motel design & ammenities, as to be expected, but the room was cozy and friendly, the owners were wonderfully helpful and we definitely suggest considering Maples over higher priced local hotels. Everything in walking distance incl. beach, restaurants, drugstore,... More

Very small room, but clean, walking distance to downtown and beach. Overall, good experience. Next time hopefully we can stay in a room with 2 beds. Customer service was good. We'll stay there again.........

Maples Motel is not high class swanky. However we found the staff very friendly; the rooms very clean, very comfy. Everything has been renovated. It is a quick walk to the park. All in all it was a great stay in a cozy motel.

Well , it' been 5 years since our last stay at the Maples Motel... Things have started to go down somewhat... When we first visited , the new owner had just reconditioned the whole place. By the looks of the place 5 years later, I don't think the owner has kept up the maintenance ,as needed. Those wonderful beds are... More

Located close to everything. After a day I was able to find everyplace I wanted. Owner was always eager to help. Remembered my name too. Had a little bathtub/shower combo but was determined to try. Bad Idea! It's for little people so be very careful. Easy to get in but hard to get out of. Really handy having a little... More

The room at the Maples was nice and clean. New bathroom was great. The beach was easily accessible and the Mariposa Market within walking distance. Orillia is a nice tourist town to viist. Missisauga St. is loaded with little shops to visit and explore. Lake couchiching is shallow so great for small ones in the water. Our granddaughter stayed in... More

This was my first stay in a motel and it felt very different compared to the usual hotels. But we had to book this motel as most of the hotels were booked. Anyway, the room and particularly the bathroom were small but very clean;you can manage if you are a couple. The location though is very nice, you can find... More
