We stayed at the Comfort Inn for 3 nights and it was a lovely hotel. Friendly staff, a great breakfast selection and our kids loved the pool. It was a really short walk down to the waterfront and main high street. The only thing we found odd was everything at breakfast used disposable paper plates and bowls, plastic glasses and plastic cutlery, so not very sustainable. I dread to think how much plastic they get through as the breakfast room was busy right from 6.30am through to closing.
What an amazing stay. My boyfriend and I only booked this hotel because it was cheap and all of the hotels were booked in Kingston and most were booked in Ganonoque. After a day in Kingston, we drove over to the hotel on Saturday evening. The young blonde woman working at the desk Saturday evening was so pleasant. Made amazing recommendations, answered questions and asked for our preferences for room levels. The room was more than we expected. We booked a king room and when we walked in, to our surprise there was a lovely jacuzzi tub. The woman working at the breakfast area on Sunday morning was also such a pleasure. Very welcoming and very attentive to the breakfast area. Overall amazing stay, the friendliest staff, amazing location with a great Italian place next door.…
Very impressed with this property. Rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff are very good, especially housekeeping! Pricing is definitely based on supply and demand, hotel is full so suggests pricing is right. My only complaint is impossible to get a table for breakfast no matter what time in the morning when hotel is full.
A friendly staff to greet us. The location was within walking distance of the waterfront and across from a park. The room was smaller then expected as we have been spoiled by other Comfort Inns. The best part was returning to a full hot sit-down breakfast which was well attended rather then a take-away bag. The internet was spotty...apparently according to the front desk, some android phones will not connect to their server. The girl said this was an on-going problem. I did have service temporarily in the am as the system resets daily, but went out again. My android tablet was fine. Go figure...
Almost $280 for a room with 2 double beds on a Friday night with a view of the parking lot. The room was very comfortable but I'm sorry the rate was exorbitant!! The breakfast (included) was very sad. The absolute worst part was the garbage. All utensils (were plastic) and some food was wrapped in plastic. Paper plates and cups. Rubbery eggs (the worst). Never again. Very disappointing.
Had a wonderfull stay here in July 2022. The Room seemed to be newly renovated and was very clean. Nice and friendly staff they have. The breakfast was included and delicous. We didn’t go to the Indoor Pool, so I can’t tell something about it. Hope to come back once in a while.
We are very disappointed with our experience here. I reserved a room using Booking.com and when I shortly realized it was for the wrong dates, I immediately canceled the reservation. I quickly contacted Booking.com and they sent the cancellation request to this location. I also called the office and the employees were very rude and unprofessional. I was told the manager was not in so I will receive a call back to get this figured out. The manager never called and I tried to contact the hotel multiple times but no reply. I got charged for the room I never stayed in with ample time for them to review the cancellation request. What a waste of time and money! What hotel charges customers for a room that was a mistake through a third party company THE HOTEL CHOOSES TO WORK WITH? This is so greedy, I cannot fathom. I will never stay at Comfort Inn & Suites again.…
Part of the hotel is very new with high ceilings and modern interior. Nice neighbourhood. Good Breakfast buffet. Make sure there is no double billing if the hotel was booked in advance. Getting to the parking lot takes getting used too,,
This charming hotel is located in the heart of Gananoque, a pitoresque small town along the 1000 Islands region of Canada. Walk left, you are 3 min from downtown, walk right and you are at waterfront.
We travelled through on our way to Ottawa. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was also lots of parking. Unfortunately, the hydro went out (which was totally out of their control) but they handled it very well, especially the breakfast waitress as she tried her best to ensure guests had something to eat (yogurt, fruit, muffins, etc)
