On the north shore of Lake Ontario, just at the beginning of the St. Lawrence River sits Howe Island and on this beautiful island is the Howe Island B&B. We had a fabulous time there. The location is spectacular, the accommodation is clean, warm, and welcoming and the Hosts, Wendy and David Jones are wonderful people. Anyone heading east or...

Wendy & David know how to make you feel right at home. Attentive but not smothering with just enough attention to detail. Definitely worth the visit when looking for relaxing surrounds and fabulous food!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Lawton Lodge, the room away from the main house. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and am sure we would have been equally happy in either of the rooms in the owner's house. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and at home. David and Wendy were...

Meeting up with old friends for a class reunion in the quiet surroundings of Howe Island B&B was just perfect. Plenty of room for seclusion and long quiet chats. Comfortable rooms and the most delicious breakfast imaginable. We WILL BE BACH!

This was our first B&B experience as a young family and it far exceeded expectations. The hosts David and Wendy are some of the kindest people we have ever met. They bonded with our 18 month old daughter and it was a pleasure to watch as parents. My wife is vegan and the hosts were nice enough to accommodate and...

What to say about the Howe Island B&B? The location & views are fantastic, the room (we stayed in the Lawton Lodge) was comfortable and pretty, and the hosts took care of us from the moment we made the booking, even going so far as to give us a lift to the ferry with our bicycles when it was raining....

We spent 2 weeks travelling around Canada and this was definitely one of the highlights! David and Wendy are great hosts and made us feel right at home. The location is gorgeous and just what we wanted after several hectic city trips. You're right by the river so can take a (very cold) swim if you want to to revive...

We were fortunate enough to get overnight accommodation the Victoria Day long weekend at Howe Island B&B. To say the stay was amazing would be an understatement. David and Wendy were fabulous hosts, felt like long lost friends, we enjoyed our short time at Howe Island immensely. We stayed in the cottage which was very comfortable with amazing views out...

David and Wendy were born to host. They greeted us like old friends and made sure we felt at home as soon as we got there. They're lovely and chatty (and David has a huge repertoire of jokes!), but as we were staying in a little cabin not connected to the main house, we also had plenty of privacy when...

I recently spent a night at Howe Isaland B&B and the hospitality was second to none. Accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best I've had. All in all a great time, wish I could have stayed longer but I'll be back for sure. Thanks David an Wendy for a wonderful stay. Arthur.
