Oh they have Aircon but it doesn't work because they have power issues, but you find that out after you paid for the room. You love springs in your mattress? Their beds have plenty. For 1.400 its a great deal! Like a free massage from a passive aggressive sadist. Do you love the smell of nature? Each room comes with...

Bed was ok, mossie net good. Dirty room, feral curtains full of nesting creatures, and a horrible bathroom, and I've seen some bathrooms, Sri Lankan bus station toilets, and many of India's questionable bathrooms. These rooms are completely unloved, covered in mould, dirt and all kind of animal matter in the bathroom. No basin in the bathroom, a bucket flush...

We stayed at this place for one night. It's really close to the beach but otherwise the place was a bit boring. For the rest of our stay we changed to Had Farang which was cheaper (550bht for a bungalow) and nicer. Rubber Tree had breakfast included in the 800bht price but the room was not nearly as cozy as...

Like Vinz-C suggested, there are mixed reviews about Rubber Tree Bungalows and here goes my $0.02 based on our 2-night stay at the end of February: We stayed in Trang Saturday night and had arranged for a shuttle/long-tail boat service from Trang to Koh Mook. We booked through Rubber Tree Bungalows (called them) so they dropped us off right at...

Found it hard to get a good idea based on reviews because of contradicting reports, so here's my contribution to clarify some if it; The hotel entrance is on the 'road' that connects to the main village on the island, at 2 minutes from the beach. that is 2 minutes max unless you are overweight, over aged or suffer from...

It was a VERY basic room but on the right side of Koh Mook island at least. 2 minutes to the beach. We had a fan room for 800 bhat. It was cheap compared to others on the island for almost similar rooms. Cold water, terrible shower and no sink in bathroom. With the vile charlie's resort monopolising the island...

The rooms here are nice and clean. Very simple just a bed and a mosquito net and a small bathroom. We also had a porch out the front which was nice. The bad thing about this place Is that it is far from the main beach. Once you leave your bungalow, I suggest not going back until you go to...

I stayed in Rubber Tree for 2 nights with my friend Bryony on 20th and 21st April. I really liked it here. The owner and manager are very friendly to you. It has a very personal feel and they will organise everything for you (snorkelling, transport etc). The bungalows are nice, you can have AC or fan. The nicest thing...

We stayed at rubber tree for two nights. We had basic bungalow with fan. Room was basic, clean. Room did not have anything where to put stuff ect, so basicly all stuff inside of rucksack. This is kinda no so nice in a country where you have lots of moisture. Mosquitonets didn't have any holes, but nets are so "thick"...

I stayed here two nights in February - once in the most basic room (fan only) & once in an upgrade (A/C), which also provides a fan. I did not end up needing the A/C as the fan was enough. I ate at the restaurant (breakfast & lunch) and it was always good, although sometimes the orders needed some corrections....
