This bastide is overlooked by rocky cliffs and overlooking an eye searingly beautiful village. The location is in my opinion much better than in the village itself as a bastide has much better creature comforts, light and space than any renovated medieval village house could have. And of course a pool. The pool is perfectly located in the midst of...

A small piece of Provence located in an amazing location with huge rock cliffs on both sides. Spacious rooms opening onto a large terraced area with pool, great to sit back after a busy tourist day and enjoy the surrounds. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, spoke excellent English. Great location to stay a few days and drive to the...

The large apartment was fantastic. We had a great week there and in the area. There are quite a few good restaurants, wineries, and olive oil places in Les Baux. Old city is interesting as well. Owners are super. We will return to this unit. Alan and Sonja Houston Texas usa

Very friendly and knowledgeable owners Christine and Phillipe gave a great greeting upon arrival. So did Fred, the wonderful dog. We stayed 3 nights and found plenty to do in the area as the location is central to lots of choices for day activities while still being quiet and "countrified." The room was very comfortable, bright, and quiet. So why...

Taven Residences in les Baux de Provence was absolutely spectacular. The hosts were friendly, amazingly helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities and provided memorable breakfasts with homemade jams and breads. The rooms are immaculate and are in a breathtaking space tucked into overhanging cliffs and also has a view of the dramatic town of les Baux. The walk to...

We often stay in Relais Chateaux or Small Luxury Hotels. This hotel is a real pleasure. It's beautiful, friendly, comfortable. This will be our place in Provence!! When you drive up to the hotel, it is absolutely astounding! This property has been in the same family for six generations. The innkeepers are real pros and are so warm and nice....

Words cannot describe how wonderful this hotel Is even though many other Trip Advisor contributors have tried. Set in the peaceful gardens close to the village this is a place of peace run by Phillip and Christine and supported by Fred the dog. We spent five nights here in late October where unusually the weather was perfect. The room was...

We spent four nights at Riboto de Taven and chose this location for several reasons. It was a reasonable price, centrally located in Provence between Arles, Aix and Avignon and there was no fee to park your car. Le Baux is a beautiful old village built into the side of a rock mountain. The valley below is filled with olive...

You can pay a lot more to stay in/near Les Baux but why bother? La Riboto is fantastically well located - great view of town from the pool - and it's run by the most welcoming team of people. Quiet, good food and comfortable, clean rooms; what more do you need! And Carrieres des Luminieres - a must-see - is...

The property has been in the family for 4 generations. Christine and Phillipe will be retiring shortly. Timing is everything and I feel so grateful we had the opportunity to stay at this fantastic property when we did. First of all the grounds are exceptional. There are many different seating areas around the property with different views. We stayed in...
