My wife and I stayed here and found the experience to be wonderful. The home is absolutely beautiful. It is appointed with nice furnishings and is in a nice neighborhood. As for the proprietors; you could not ask for anyone to be more congenial. We had wonderful conversation with fellow guests while enjoying a wonderful breakfast. We would heartily recommend...

The hotels were booked so I decided to give this B&B a try. I usually prefer a good luxury hotel over a B&B. Of course that has changed since my stay at the Haddon House. I found the home very charming, yet modern and comfortable. My room was large and very tastefully decorated. There was a very comfortable bed, flat...

This wasn't quite the right place for us. Yes, the home was nice. It's an old, restored home in a nice neighborhood. We stayed in the Elworth suite. The room is quite small with a comfortable queen bed, and the bathroom is good-sized. The bedroom shares a wall with the Deerholme room so you can hear the people in that...

The home is beautifully restored and renovated. The hosts are lovely people who made us feel instantly welcome in their home. The accommodation is luxurious and the breakfast options almost overwhelming in their variety of choice. We have visited the home in summer and winter and the location, close to Deer Lake Park, is great for those wanting to take...

Highways & major driving routes, shopping, business, and sky train at your fingertips but you would never know it. Situated on a dead-end street (pedestrian accessible) that enters into a boardwalk-bordered lake park, this STUNNING house seems to exist in it's own little bubble - a time capsule of a place that is fully updated (very elegant work on the...

We stayed for one night to make our Metrotown shopping trip more worthwhile. The location was easy to find down a quiet leafy street and the accommodation was very plush and comfortable. The hosts could not be more welcoming or accommodating and the breakfast was unbelievable! We had dinner at the Hart House restaurant, a short walk from the B&B,...

When we stayed at the Haddon House and were welcomed as if we had been family for years. It was our first "stay." Our room was so comfortable and we enjoyed the backyard daily. My daily run was 2 blocks away that took me along the most beautiful lake with a perfect running loop. Our breakfast was something out of...

The home is beautiful and roomy. The food is a true delight. The bedrooms are perfect with great bed linens. The gardens are warm and inviting. The best part was how the owners made you feel so at home. It was very hard to leave!

We recently stayed at Haddon House with my Mother, sister and teenage son. My son was involved in a tournament at the Simon Frasier Uni and so I found the B & B on the internet as it stated it was near SFU. I was reluctant to stay in Burnaby as I thought it would be to out of the way...

“We stayed in the room that had the bathtub in the ensuite, and the view overlooked the garden. All the rooms have access to the den on the second floor that has a fridge, and the main floor that has lovely views, a piano, sound system, and chesterfields and lamps for relaxing and reading.”

“They are all great - we were booking at the last minute and took the one room without an ensuite bathroom (full bath was just across the hall), but they upgraded us to the room next door with ensuite when we arrived.”

“I would try to get the suites with the bathroom inside the rooms. I was in the Dearholme suite and the bathroom was down the hall. To make up for this, it was private for my use only and it was beautifully decorated with a glass shower.”
