The lodge, located near the Elizabeth Lake conservation area, is quiet, has comfy beds, BIG towels, towel warmers, and great hosts. If you have time, it's nice to walk around the sanctuary to spot the various bird species. For dinner, they recommended The Hideout so we took a leisurely 2 km walk into town to check it out. We had...

Best motel I think we've stayed at. Clean and up to date with all the essentials. We were welcomed and walked to our room. Had a dog with us and the $10 pet fee felt reasonable. Nice cotton sheets and great assortment of pillows. Comfy beds. The walkway was shoveled early as was a path to our truck. Owners run...

What a gem. Clean. Homey. Heated bathroom floors and towel rack. Comfortable bed and pillows. Deep tub. Handmade goat soap. Perfect kitchenette with sink. Because I leave early I said I would miss my strong coffee. So, the owner put coffee beans, a grinder, and real whole milk in the fridge. Who does that? We'll, they do. For my money...

I have stayed many times at the marvelous Elizabeth Lake Lodge and have always been delighted with the accommodation. The rooms are meticulously kept, and clean, and bright and comfortable with great beds and heated-tile bathrooms and well-appointed kitchens (with wonderful utensils). And an orchid. The bird sanctuary next door is marvelous to explore. Best of all is the personal...

I am a recruiter for the University of Lethbridge, and I consequently do a LOT of travelling. Do not take this message lightly: BEST hotel experience I have ever had. Firstly, George welcomes you by name (assuming you arrive at your expected time), and gifts you with an imported chocolate. He then walks you up to your room while carrying...

This place was a really mixed stay. The fellow at the front desk - really super friendly and helpful, which was great. Check-in was super simple and quick. Then, it got confusing. He had us drive to our room (other side of the building) and opened the door for us - then went in ahead of us (two ladies) inside...

We stayed at this lodge for two nights in September. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Attention to details like the heated towel rack and heated flooring in the bathroom and a live orchid in the room elevate the ambiance of the stay. George was very welcoming and helped us carry our luggage to the room. He was...

During a stay to attend a friend's wedding, my family and I received a warm reception and exceptional attention during our stay at Elizabeth Lake Lodge in November. George helped us to secure childcare for our children for one of the evenings. The suite was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen was well-stocked, the furniture comfortable and the...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. We had a wonderful king room, that had a small kitchenette. The unit was very clean and well equipped for our needs. The bed was comfortable, and the duvet made for a nice sleep. The wi fi was excellent.
