Detailed Reviews
I had a short stay at the Copper Point Resort from Sept 3rd & 4th 2020. Hotel check in at 4 pm was smooth, I was disappointed in the condition of the hallway carpets...very dirty! They require a serious vacuum and steam cleaning, including the guest rooms. My better half refused to go barefoot in the guest room with how dirty the carpets looked. Also it is difficult to sleep when the spotlights outside face the hotel and illuminate the rooms, the blinds do not provide a way to properly block this issue.
The restaurant food was excellent, great variety and large portions for a reasonable price. I was surprised you could obtain a selection of DVD movies if you had weather conditions forcing you to stay inside for the day or night at this hotel.
The pool was very nice, very clean and a welcomed addition to my hotel stay. Overall enjoyed my visit but a few minor details need to be addressed soon before the caliber and quality of this property go down.

We stayed at the Copper Point Resort for a Covid friendly ski break. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and were happy with the high quality kitchen, spacious bedroom and walk in shower. Staff were friendly and it was easy to order food from the restaurant for pickup. The downside was just how busy it was over the weekend. It was difficult to find a place to park (especially when other visitors take up two parking places for their trucks). We were looking forward to using the pool and hut tubs, but found them crowded in Covid times and overrun with children. I would recommend the hotel have an adult swim hour and have pool time sign ups (like the Fairmont hotels are doing) to ensure everyone can enjoy the amenities safely and peacefully.

This review is based on my winter experience. The resort has a great location. Close to many locations in town, you can enjoy the quaint but amenable location of Invermere. I was there for a ski trip and whether you want to shuttle up to Panarama or drive there it is relatively close. Dont forget to ask the friendly staff at the front desk for ski passes since you can get the discounted rate.
It is also a perfect spot to stay in for a day. Its pool and spa facility are top notch and are a great way to unwind after a long day of holiday activities. The food is also very good. I enjoyed the New Years buffet (the prime rib was exquisite). But yeah. Enjoyable place that is very scenic.

Hotel lobby and guest rooms needs a major makeover - for the price you are paying per night - it's NOT reflected in what you receive. Rooms are outdated, furniture is worn and needs replacing. Hallways and carpets are dirty. Entire hotel need to be refreshed and repainted. Copper Point shouldn't be charging a room FULL rate when there is 1) No bell service to bring up luggage 2) No housekeeping 3) No breakfast
You're operating at reduced capacity/staff/amenities/services, so the price should reflect that. The front desk staff were kind and accommodating and we felt sorry for them. The hotel just had no vibe and was like a ghost hotel - seemed more like a motel. The word "Resort" should be taken off of the name, as this is a far cry from a "Resort"!

Mid week stay first week of May, resort was well maintained very quiet (likely bc it’s off season). Booked a one bedroom suite mainly for the kitchen came fully stocked just bring your food and pantry items. Outdoor pool / hot tub has a nice view of mountains, indoor options for the cooler days. Enjoyed a lavender scrub at the spa so nice and relaxing without having to leave the hotel. Likely to return.

While my family and I travel frequently to the Fairmont area, this was our first stay at Copper Point. It didn't disappoint! The rooms were very clean and spacious with all the amenities you'd need. The pools (indoor and year-round outdoor) were a definite highlight and we spent a lot of time enjoying them. I'd like to go back in the summer on a normal year (aka not 2020) and take advantage of the loungers/restaurant patio. The hotel staff were also great. They helped us with a few issues including a burnt out lightbulb and setting up the DVD player. The staff members who helped us were fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
A few things for improvement...I probably would not request a view room next time. It turns out the view overlooked the pool area, which is nice, but there were A LOT of noisy kids. It didn't make for being very peaceful/relaxing. We were also given a ground floor room on arrival. I'm not sure how this qualifies as a view room as I'd think most people would prefer an upper floor whenever possible. However, the front desk staff were helpful in moving us up a floor. Unfortunately that also came with a very noisy family above us who were thumping around and possibly moving furniture(?). I thought it was renovations at first, then realized it wasn't. Some of this comes down to people respecting each other, and is not a reflection of the hotel. The one thing I would change about the room is the bed mattresses were extremely hard. I like a firm mattress but I woke up with a sore back each morning.
All in all, the experience was great and the price was right. We'll definitely return. Thank you!

We stayed over for one night at the resort this past weekend August long weekend. After we checked in and walked into the room, we immediately notice an empty beer bottle left from the previous occupant. For safety reasons, we had to wipe down all of the furnitures ourselves. There were also towels left unattended on the bed. We checked a little futher just to ensure there was not further issues. Unfortunately we also found the coffee grounds left from the previous occupant. We flagged these issues to the hotel reception twice - the day off and the next day when we checked out at the resort. However, the resort placed additional charges to my billing and I had to contact them the third time to have this resolved.
Given tbe current situation, it does not seem like Copper Point is taken the health and safety of their guests seriously.
However on the other hand, we enjoyed the dinner menu items at the Element restaurant.

We had a great stay at Copperpoint. We were really impressed with their excellent service at the front desk reception as well as the housekeeping staff.
Regarding the pandemic, we appreciated their efforts to adhere to public health orders, including hand sanitizer at the entrance, social distancing measures when accessing the restaurant, and cleaning the pool area hourly. The only small suggestion we had was to consider putting hand sanitizer on the P1 level by the stairwell and parkade doors (on exit and entry). Thank you!

My husband and I recently stayed at Copper Point for a weekend getaway golf trip and it was a great base for our stay in Invermere. We were in a standard queen room with the only real downsides being that the bathroom was quite tight (only room for one person at a time and very minimal counter space for belongings) and the air conditioner was quite loud and clunky when turning on and off, but kept the room nice and cool.
We were able to reserve some time at the pool which was heated and has a pool bar with well priced drinks available. We also ate at the restaurant which was delicious! It has a great patio but unfortunately due to the smoke coming in from the wildfires it was closed down after our fist day there.
All in all, we would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it.

Just got home from staying three nights at the beautiful Copperpoint resort! Everything was impeccable ! They have gone above and beyond to make sure that the guests can enjoy a stay while proper measures are taken to avoid COVID exposure. The room was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed, especially the cozy bathrobes! After a day of golfing we were able to spend time in the pool (temperature was nice and warm) and enjoy a drink and snack from the poolside cabana. The restaurant also opened on the last day for take out! Our meals were superb! Staff were so accommodating and friendly ! Will definitely come back soon!
