We stayed here for two nights to celebrate a birthday & special anniversary. Our room (the Dijon) was cozy and had a nice view of the soccer field/park below. The owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were tasty and nicely presented. The hot tub was not available unfortunately. I was a bit surprised to discover that there are a... More

My friend and I have never stayed at a B&B before and did not know what to expect--this was a wonderful place. Nice location, own deck, very comfortable room, own shower. Breakfast great. Hostess super nice, gave us excellent travel advice. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in Nelson for two days, Virginia our hostess knew the best places to get dinner and where to find amazing Thai food at the farmers market. She even gave us pointer on what to see when we went to Revelstoke. We had so much fun. Our room was great with a view of the lake and breakfast was... More

I found the Grand Lakefront rather by accident but what a great discovery it turned out to be! The place is beautiful, the view of the lake is amazing, and Virginia is a wonderful host. Obviously the food was great as well. Virginia made sure we knew where to go for great sites and shopping. My daughter and I agree... More

Virginia was the perfect host, enthusiastically suggesting walking tours of Nelson, the best shopping places, and providing recommendations for dinner (we took her suggestion and dinned at "Sage" (tapas) - dinner on the back deck overlooking the lake - excellent). The room was spacious and quaint, and our balcony had a nice view of the lake. Breakfast as excellent.

We stayed here for two nights. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake which was perfect for the Canada Day Fireworks and for taking in the amazing view. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Virginia the owner is super helpful and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local area. The breakfasts were delicious and different each... More

We had a wonderful stay at this B & B. The Hostess is a very friendly. She cooked us a great breakfast, too much food. The room is large with a comfortable king bed. The room has a wonderful view of the park and the river. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the Dijon Room. Had a nice little sitting area, full table in room, private bath and another small attached room with a cot. This room also has its own private balcony overlooking the lake. Very peaceful at night and in the morning. Virginia is a wonderful hostess, and you will not leave her table hungry. This heritage... The Grand Lakefront B&B was a great find! The rooms and view are spectacular and Virginia is a wonderful hostess. And Cook --- her breakfasts are wonderful!! Nelson is a Victorian town with a bohemian feel and this heritage house fits in perfectly. The gardens are beautiful and fun to explore, and each of our rooms had a deck with... More

Incredible heritage home. Stayed for two nights, had stayed at another B&B my first night in Nelson, wish I had stay all three here. Breakfast was great, served in the front room of the house. Garden was beautiful, nice little deck to read your book on the back that overlooks the park and water. Virginia was a wonderful host.
