Super comfortable, clean, modern room. Lovely king bed. Great WIFI. Excellent bathroom. Staff were attentive and informative. Plush bathrobe. The location was ideal for my destination (Sidney Marina). Easy walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Parking is an extra $5 per day, which is fair enough, but I couldn't find that information in the hotel's website. My direct on-line booking...

Thank you very much for your review! It is very rewarding to hear you enjoyed your stay, and the service our team provided. Our parking fee is noted on the 'Amenities' tab of our website, but your point is very well taken and I will ensure it is more prominently featured, particularly in the booking process. I appreciate you sharing...

This hotel is located at the Sidney Pier right at the waters edge. There are several room options with the best view offered by the upper floors. One option offers a living/dining room with a separate bedroom. Very comfortable and scenic. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel also has a great upscale restaurant, bar, and spa. There is easy...

On our recent visit to the Island, we spent one night at the Sydney Pier Hotel and Spa. This is not our first visit, in fact, we stayed in the hotel when they first opened the doors several years ago and again on occasion since. This is a lovely spot, very friendly, modern rooms, relaxed atmosphere, and quiet for sleeping....

Thank you so very much for sharing your experience. You are exactly right - the lobby is a hub for the community and our public spaces are Sidney's living room. It adds a lot of vibrancy to our business and we are lucky to have so many regulars. We appreciate you choosing the Pier for your visits in Sidney, and...

We were at the Sidney Pier for only one night, but our stay was very pleasant indeed. The hotel is lovely, thoroughly modern but relaxed and low-key. It provides fine amenities like a heated towel rack in the bath and a steam room for the guests. Our room had an ocean view (in December, grey sky and water). A café...

Thank you very much for your review. Most rewarding are the comments about our team - we are lucky to have a great crew on board, all of whom are hospitality professionals. Sidney is a great town, with diverse arts and cultural assets - lots of museums, galleries, a sculpture walk, book stores and artisan crafts. I do hope you...

We have never been disappointed after 4 stays here. The best room is the signature suite - great views. It is a good value too. We get the room with a kitchen and it is like an apartment. Super. The children in the rooms on either side were a tad noisy but new year;s eve was generally quiet

On a tour of Vancouver Island we stayed here in August 2016 with wife, 2 young kids and in-laws for 3 nights. We were more than satisfied with the rooms and all the hotel amenities. The staff were always polite and helpful. It's centrally located for everything Sidney has to offer and I'd certainly stay here again. Sidney is a...

Before I start I must say we stayed only one night in the middle of winter so a sea view was hardly a draw. We found the rooms more stark than "modern". But that is a matter of taste. Some of the furniture is a little worn and I would call the room adequate but not comfy. Everything is a...

Thank you very much for your comments. I do appreciate hearing where we are falling short. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed Haro's Restaurant and our location. Great staff, very helpful and responsive. Lovely view. Immaculate bathrooms. Furniture is getting a bit worn, as is the cooktop-could do with replacing.Otherwise, kitchen is very handy to have.Fold-out bed could do with better linens and a duvet.Super-fast checkin and out.
