Decent place to stop for one night in Squamish. The room was large, bed comfortable, and there's free off road parking behind the hotel. It's centrally located so easy to walk around. Friendly guy at reception where you can help yourself to coffee and snacks for breakfast.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was--I wasn't expecting much, and was dreading a rather cold lonely week staying here while training every day in Whistler. In fact the August Jack was a perfect place to rest and recuperate--it's an easy ten minute walk to the grocery store, and a 20-minute walk to the Adventure Center where the bus picks up/drops off. The whole surrounding neighborhood is full of cute shops and inviting places to eat--wish I had more time here to explore the town! My room was wonderfully spacious with enough floor space for me to stretch, although the carpet is on the older side so I wouldn't lie directly on it. The rest of the room was perfectly clean aside from one small mold issue that the staff was responsive to. I loved having a full kitchenette with dishes/pots and pans and a stovetop, plus full fridge and freezer. The heat in the room was AWESOME, so cozy and warm when I needed it to be. The water in the shower was really hot, and the toiletries were good quality. Wifi worked perfectly and the TV was pretty good quality too with a nice variety of channels. The staff was helpful and courteous. I have already booked my next stay here! Thank you for a great week!

Pleasant enough rooms. I had some stuff stolen from truck in parking lot. Don't leave anything of any value inside vehicles in their parking lot. Seems like a lot of theft happens from there. Some other people had things stolen from outside of their rooms.

We only stayed one night. We were very well received, very kind receptionist. Spacious room, nice beds, delicious shower. The bathroom is small for the size of the room, but that doesn't compromise comfort. Windows with great views, our room had a huge door/window that opened onto a square. It has a volume guard. As we were going to leave our luggage there for a walk, the receptionist offered us a free late checkout, which was very kind of him. I don't think it's always possible, but it was a delicacy. I really liked it and would go back. Fair price for the place, best value for money. Great location, on the main street. There is no breakfast, but there is a great one nearby, also recommended by the receptionist, Big D, very good.

It's a regular Motel, but we were surprised because we expected worse and everything was pretty good. We arrived late and tired and were very well served. The room was very large and clean. The best thing is that they do not offer breakfast, but they give you a coffee with some cupcakes that you can have in the room or in the reception itself. Its decoration is also very remarkable. If we go back to Squamish we'll repeat, for sure.

The room smelled of air freshener over smoke though it was supposed to be a non- smoking room. Bed wasn't comfortable and everything seemed very old and worn out. There was nobody there when we arrived to check us in - they apologized for that and were friendly to us. Just not a comfortable experience overall.

We had a very comfortable stay! Room was spotless, modern, clean and quiet. It is located in a great part of Squamish at the top end of the town so close to all amenities in walking distance. Complementary tea/coffee available and secure parking!

Terrible place to stay. The room smells of old smoke. Decor very old and grubby. The tv didn't work The plug in the bathroom didn't work. Kitchenette had the strangest collection of items. Only 1 glass, dirty. No kettle, had to ask for one. It only worked once whilst letting off burning electrical smell. High price. Picked because of location but would advise to stay anywhere but here. Don't think their income is from tourists staying here.

Room was spacious and clean with Tv, fridge and microwave. Good location for shops and restaurants. Staff make the place if I'm honest. Extremely friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Lovely free coffee in reception which is a nice touch and good tasting. A big thanks to Angela at reception for all her assistance. Would definitely use this motel again. Recent new ownership so upgrading has commenced with more to come I believe.

Terrible place to stay in. Rude and unapproachable staff as well. They don’t care about their customer. They know that it’s sunmer and it’s too hot in their room and can’t provide an efan. They provided the second day but it doesn’t even help. If you will book in this hotel think twice, it’s not worth it!!!!!!!
