The room smelled of air freshener over smoke though it was supposed to be a non- smoking room. Bed wasn't comfortable and everything seemed very old and worn out. There was nobody there when we arrived to check us in - they apologized for that and were friendly to us. Just not a comfortable experience overall.

We got a room with kitchen and it was spacious, with a large patio door looking over beautiful park. The location is amazing in center of down town. The Motor Inn is a family run business that cares very much about there patrons experience and gives them there full attention.

Terrible place to stay. The room smells of old smoke. Decor very old and grubby. The tv didn't work The plug in the bathroom didn't work. Kitchenette had the strangest collection of items. Only 1 glass, dirty. No kettle, had to ask for one. It only worked once whilst letting off burning electrical smell. High price. Picked because of location but would advise to stay anywhere but here. Don't think their income is from tourists staying here.

Terrible place to stay in. Rude and unapproachable staff as well. They don’t care about their customer. They know that it’s sunmer and it’s too hot in their room and can’t provide an efan. They provided the second day but it doesn’t even help. If you will book in this hotel think twice, it’s not worth it!!!!!!!

Pleasant enough rooms. I had some stuff stolen from truck in parking lot. Don't leave anything of any value inside vehicles in their parking lot. Seems like a lot of theft happens from there. Some other people had things stolen from outside of their rooms.

It was hard to find affordable lodging that was also clean and exclusive online. So as we drove past August Jack Motor Inn, on a hunch I asked the driver to park at this motel. I had to stay a week, but it extended to a month. Clean bed and bath and friendly homies for hosts. Great location downtown and easy access to public transport. Highly recommend for parents visiting their university students. For anyone who likes it clean.

We stayed at the August Jack Motor Inn for 3 nights in Feb. 2019. The couple that run the motel are very nice. Yes, the motel looks like it is from the 1970s from the outside as it's green in colour. However, the rooms are big, very clean and the bed & pillows totally comfortable. I had no concerns whatsoever about the cleanliness of the room and it was very quiet. I could not hear other guests or people in the hallways.. There is onsite parking and because it's in downtown Squamish on the main street, you can walk to several restaurants, coffee shops, stores etc. I would not hesitate in staying here again. It is great value!

Just stayed here for 3 nights in Aug 2018. It is a nice and clean with kitchenette option at a good reasonable price. Provides enough parking for the hotel guests and also has free additional on the road side. It is close to Shannon Falls and Brandywine falls. Our room was facing the road and a beautiful mountain (rock) view.
