A recent trip to this resort has blown me away. First, the booking was made over the phone and it took less than what it normally takes over the internet. A very friendly lady confirmed it and we were all set in no time. A welcoming staff received us and we were given two x two bed cottages (were definitely...

This was the worst experience my family and I have ever had. This was our first time in Muskoka and our Canada Day long weekend vacation started out poorly. When we got to Blue Water Acres, we had the shocking surprise of having a decaying dead animal in our bed. Yes you heard that correctly, a decaying head animal in...

I am sorry this unfortunate incident happened on your first trip to Muskoka. The cottage had been inspected earlier that day and the cottage had been occupied a few days earlier with no complaints. I can only speculate that a screen door was left open and a chipmunk entered and got into the bed. When you came into the office...

The cottages are new, with flat screens and leather couches, the "muskoka room" (screened in porch) was amazing, sitting out there early in the morning or late at night was always relaxing. The grounds are pretty rough and tumble, the indoor pool was a nice touch for sure. The WIFI worked well too! We would return.

We unfortunately picked one of the coldest weeks this year for a winter holiday. Fortunately we picked a resort than gave us a refuge from the cold. We enjoyed our fireplace, cosy beds, and well equipped kitchen. the view of the lake was stunning. Staff kept the road, rink and tubing hill in great condition despite the cold and snow....

A beautiful location with lots to do. Facilities are clean and well equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. We skated, tubed, swam, played pool, ping pong and other games, watched movies, played board games ----- all provided by the resort. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We had a wonderful week In the resort. The accommodations were excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful and even in the off season the resort had lots of activities to do. I especially was grateful for the many extra's such as coffee filters, paper towels, dish washing soap and even Kleenex etc. You seldom find all those items...

My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying the peak foliage season in Lake of Bays region. Our two bedroom cottage had all the amenities - up-to-date kitchen appliances and great Muskoka room. Two LCD tvs - one in master bedroom and one in the living room. Most of all, we loved kayaking (free for guests), playing tennis, and...

We enjoyed a week at bwa thus past August with our family (two under the age of 8) as well as two other families. All three families stayed in different styled cottages but when it came down to the overall experience, the actual accommodation played a small roll. The grounds, beach, dock, games room, pool, playground and hiking trail were...

If the weather is cool and damp, the old cottage is not a good place to be. The people are really nice and helpful as they can be and the area is spectacular. Lots to do when the weather is good. We were there for outdoor activities but the weather was not cooperating.

We stayed in a Deerview cottage on a timeshare exchange for a week in July. The location is spectacular if you want that Muskoka cottage feel. Quick access to Lake of Bays on property and a slip for my boat was included in the week. Use of all of their non-motorized boats was included. This was a perfect spot for...
