We stayed in the Bluebird cabin for 2 nights. The Lodge exceeded our expectations! The beds were comfy (HUGE relief), everything was clean and the cabins were adorable. The bonus with staying at Cedar Grove is that all your meals are included. Up front it feels like an expensive trip, but when you consider what it would cost to eat... More

We stayed a weekend in Loon and it was the perfect winter getaway. We came with low expectations and left very satisfied. The cottage was cozy and warm, the staff was friendly, the snow activities were great and the food was fantastic! This will be an annual occurrence for us now!

My girlfriend and I just returned from a 2 night stay in the Snowgoose cabin at Cedar Grove Lodge. We had the best time and can't wait to return again! From the moment we checked in and opened the door to our fabulous log cabin we knew it was going to be a great time. It was exactly as I... More

Our third time to Cedar Grove as a couple and it is always the same. I mean that as a good thing!! This is the perfect place to relax and unwind and get back to nature. Everything here is pure comfort. The cabins are charming, and very well maintained. No TV's which is nice for us. The fireplace is all... More

I loved the cabin & fireplace! We stayed in a one room cabin called Lovebird, it had a mini fridge, full bathroom, one firm double & twin bed, love seat pull out couch, 2 chairs and a fireplace. It would have been nice to have a kettle to make a instant coffee or tea instead of going to the main... More

It is always fairly good at Cedar Grove. The cabins are nice, most people are friendly, sometimes I think they could be a little more personable. My wife and I have been there a few times. There are times where the meals are better than other times. It would be nicer if the kitchen staff took the time with food... More

Peace and tranquility This place is amazing, I love the Peninsula lake and the surrounding area. The cabins here are quite basic but that's the whole appeal of this place. The cabins have no TV and no wifi but they do however have a lovely big fireplace and fantastic views over the lake, what more could you ask for. All... More

The folks at Cedar Grove Lodge quickly become family. My husband and I booked a last minute weekend recently. Most cabins were filled with families staying for the week but we quickly got to know most of them and hung out on the dock or at the bonfire. We stayed in the Hummingbird which is an open concept 2 queen... More

this was our first stay here and will not be our last. We were in Woodpecker, a cozy cottage with a great view of the lake. The food!! What can I say-outstanding. If you were hungry - it was your own fault. We plan on returning next February to see a different season. No one will be disappointed in staying... More

This was my fifth trip to Cedar Grove Lodge. My first was over 20 years ago. They have a great location between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. There's a small beach, tennis courts, canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and a playground for little kids. Three meals a day are included and the food was excellent. Our cabin was extremely clean. They vacuumed... More
