Judy is a delightful host. The place is elegant, and Judy made a special effort to meet my wife's special dietary needs. Even with a special diet, the breakfasts were superb! We stayed in the Whispering Pines room, which is quite private and has an entrance directly onto the backyard. Certainly one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in for...

I stayed at the Tranquil Woods Victorian Inn for just one night. The stay was too short! Our breakfast was served Hot and Delicious in an elegant dining room. Judy is an excellent cook. I know it's a bed and BREAKFAST but I would love to see what Judy can do for a dinner! MMMMM! We were served blueberry pancakes...

We had two wonderful nights staying here. Judy was an effervescent host, making every effort to make our stay better, with great advice about where to go, and where to eat. Breakfasts were a delight. We even saw deer close by- an added bonus. After motoring on to Ottawa and beyond, we discovered that we had left vital stuff in...

We've recently been back to Tranquil Woods twice and have had more wonderful times. Judy and Dan remain the most welcoming of hosts. Their house is beautiful and in a quiet setting surrounded by gardens and trees. We had great sleeps and terrific breakfasts there, hiked in Algonquin Park and Limberlost Reserve and, this past weekend, took in some fine...

Planning our trip to Huntsville was difficult, but Judy was accommodating in every way. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful sanctuary, we felt like family. The property was picturesque and extremely well kept. The inside of the house was even better. We stayed in Whispering Pines suite which had a king sized bed, ensuite bathroon, a fireplace, satellite...

As soon as we arrived we knew we were in for a relaxing get away. The beauty of nature, comfort of their home and sweet welcome, we picked the perfect B&B. Breakfast and hospitality were outstanding! Our room was so cozy, we enjoyed a fire outside the first night and amazing dinner recommendations. Judy offered us the park pass so...

As we arrived in a torrential downpour, the front door opened with the warmest smile and greeting from our charming host, Judy. This spectacular home is warmly decorated with rich woods and inviting colours. There is a lovely screened sitting room at the back of the house overlooking a lush garden filled with fun garden art and sculptures, leading into...

We stayed here for 3 nights, during our Ironman 70.3 race. We couldn't have picked a better accommodation. It wasn't cheap, but well worth it. Mind you, nothing in Muskoka is cheap. But I'd rather pay a little extra and stay at the Tranquil Woods, than save a few $ and stay at a road side motel. The house, the...

I could not stop telling our friends, on the weekend we stayed at Tranquil Woods, what a beautiful place it was! Our host, Judy was personable and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Comfy bed, yummy breakfasts and even the friendly company of her wee dog, Harley! We saw wildlife on our morning walks, and I...

"We chose Tranquil Woods as the website pictures and description captured it all. The property is country quiet. You will sleep like a baby - sinking into the mattress and listening to the world of the woods. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. What a way to start your day."
