We were the last guests of the season but there was no sense that anyone was waiting to lock the door behind us. Comfortable accommodations and generous service. We enjoyed a couple quiet evenings in the large living area in front of the fireplace.

This B&B has everything. Michael and Isobel are friendly & accommodating hosts. The location is outstanding, right on beautiful Fairy Lake within close proximity to pretty Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Two cozy common areas are available to guests with comfy furniture, a small fridge, coffee/tea, and either a wood-burning fireplace and large flat-screen TV, or a quiet sunroom with lake... More

I cannot fault this B and B. Everything was excellent from the standard of the accommodation to the warmth of the welcome of the hosts. The location however is the jewel in the crown. The views across the lake are amazing. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Our room with private bathroom was nicely decorated and perfectly clean. Drinks were... More

The Swallowdale Inn is a lovely lace to stay for a few nights; our hosts were friendly, the accommodation comfortable and the kids loved the luxurious breakfasts. They particularly went the extra mile after we'd managed to leave a phone behind and got half way to Niagara, arranging for getting it back to us, which was very kind and helpful.

We spent two late summer nights at Swallowdale. Isabel was a generous, friendly, pleasant host, and made us feel at home in her tastefully designed place. Spacious, beautiful common areas, including a pine sunroom looking out on the lake. Steps away from the water - great dock, ample towels, canoe available. Charming unobtrusive cat. We highly recommend this authentic Muskoka... More

My friend and I booked two-night stay with Michael and Isabelle. I did not have much expectation at first but it turned out to be a great experience. The house is very well maintained. Everything was attended with love - dock, flowers, humming bird, wood pecker, etc. The place is facing west so you get a gorgeous sunset view. My... More

This was our first experience staying at a B&B and we were so impressed with the hospitality. The view of fairy lake was breathtaking and so relaxing to enjoy a coffee by the lake . The accommodations were perfect! I felt like I was at home with the cozy sunroom overlooking beautifully manicured gardens and wildlife to entertain us. Breakfast... More

We can't say enough about this wonderful place. It is certainly a hidden gem. We arrived in the pouring rain all wet and damp and our hosts Michael and Isabel immediately built a roaring fire for us to snuggle up to. The view, the room the delicious breakfasts the hospitality all spectacular. So impressed we booked again. Missing it already.
