We spent 2 nights at The Briars (mid January) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The highlight of our stay was the food which was fantastic. Can't say enough about the staff either. Spent our days by the indoor pool, at the spa, and finding quiet little rooms that were perfect for a bit of reading. Evenings were a highlight with awesome...

A friend and I just returned from staying one night at the Briars Resort. From the outside the resort has a nice quaint feel. The food was good but not extraordinary,we were told we were upgraded to a better room with a king-size bed. However the room was extremely dated had not been renovated in a very long time. The...

We booked a 2 night New Year package and were very pleased with our stay. We had the Canopy Room, which overlooks the lake. The food was excellent; the New Year's Eve buffet impressive. We went for a tour, a sleigh ride, and even Scottish Dancing lessons. there was dancing on both nights. What sets this place apart is that...

Myself, my husband, mother and our two young kids decided to have a one-night getaway at the Briars a couple days ago. We had gone 3 years and enjoyed the break and were looking forward to another great experience. Our rooms were ready early, which was a nice surprise... and possibly the best part of our stay. Our room smelled...

We got married here 35 years ago, and come back every five years. The good news is that it is still as good as ever. Very quaint in the Manor House, service is excellent, food likewise. It's like you are being entertained by the host of the house. Lots of activities and a very good spa. Funn for the whole...

Celebrated my daughters 40th birthday at the Briars. The 5 of us enjoyed the spa, the pool, the sauna, the hot tub and the billiards . Three wonderful meals and a friendly accommodating staff. Also enjoyed exploring the buildings which make up the property. History beautifully preserved.

We stayed here for a weekend reunion with my university friends. The cottage we had was quaint, clean and had what we needed to relax and catch up. The package included all meals in the dining room and we were not disappointed with the food. The spa experience was also fantastic. Our therapists were professional and courteous. I would love...
