Fished Maynard Lake this past week (Aug. 22-26, 2016)...we stayed in the Outpost Cabin. Our experience was both Good and Bad. Let's start with the Good first...The Outpost Cabin was fine...solar power and generator...comfortable beds...the boats provided were great! 30 horse, 4 stroke, electric start...and good boats. The shore lunch was fabulous and the dinners were unbelievable! The first two...

We have been to over 6 different lodges in Canada and this one stands out - been back 4 times over the years. Catch and release policy is showing thru - the walleyes keep getting bigger and BIGGER. Wife had one day where she never caught a walleye LESS than 20" ??!! Shore lunch experience is not to be missed,...

Maynard feels like the trip of a lifetime every time. Fishing is great- dozens of walleye every morning, 24-28" not unusual. Pike fishing was off the charts this year. Our group of 3 caught 2 over 40" and 2 others at 37". Food is amazing, all three meals. Great breakfasts cooked to order, shore lunches that you'll dream about, and...

When we first came the winning walleye for the trip was about 24 inches. Now if you don't get one over 30 inches, you won't win. The food is great! Between the best shore lunch and great dinners, count on gaining at least a pound a day. Most visitors become regular returners, for good reasons. I guarantee you won't be...

I've taken many trips to Maynard Lake Lodge, but this was the best one yet. Fishing was outstanding with more 24"-27" walleye's than I can ever remember. Also, when you are tired of catching walleye's there are plenty of big pike to go after. Josh and his crew out did themselves with a fantastic new lodge, great food as always...

Every aspect of my stay at Maynard Lake Lodge was amazing. I flew in by float plane on a Sunday, fished for three full days and flew back on Thursday. In addition to catching many walleye and northern pike, I also caught a few rock bass and perch. The lake and surroundings are picturesque....a real break from civilization. The lodge...

My brother-in-law and myself have always wanted to do a Canadian Fly-in. After looking around on the internet comparing prices and reading reviews we selected Maynard Lake Lodge. Our 4 day trip this spring exceeded all our expectations. We took the all inclusive package so all we had to bring was clothes. I cannot say enough about Josh and his...

My brother and I have arranged a fishing trip to different locations every year for the last few years. We've been to various places in Texas, Sturgeon Bay, Fiji, and the Bahamas. This year (2013) we stayed at Maynard Lake Lodge on the recommendation of a client of mine. It was easily the best of any of our fishing trips....
