Here is a place that the ads you see show the facility new. It's not like the pictures. It's run down and filthy. There were no rooms in Banff or Canmore to be had and this facility was the only thing to be found - oh my god what a dump. I have been in some shady places but this...

If you are looking for somewhere basic and inexpensive to stay, check this place out. The staff were friendly, the free Wifi was awesome, our dorm beds were great and comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time there but it was fun. My daughter and I stayed here, we roomed with 4 other ladies and it was good but...

I stayed here with a friend for one night in a female dorm room. You can't beat the price, and it's not a bad stay. The staff were friendly but seemed new at their job. The rooms seemed clean enough. It is very minimal accommodations. There is no soap in the bathrooms for washing hands. The sheets smelled a bit...

Received confirmation email about booking two beds the day before arrival. We Arrived late on the first night and were not able to check in (12:30am) but tried calling the emergency numbers listed.. Which just ended up ringing the phone at the front desk that was closed off with no staff in sight. Came back the next day around 6pm...

We stayed here on Canada Day, so appreciate might be a busy time. Good location, walkable into town, slow checkin but we were a large group. Difficult parking for high vehicles because of limit. This is one of those hostels that presumes the worst of all guests and sets up signs stating the obvious throughout the hostel. Then feels job...

We stayed one night in room 105 - a private room. The room consists of two sets of bunks and a bathroom. @$90 it was good value for the area. Very basic but it did us for the night. They advertise free coffee for the mornings till 10.30am - not sure what time they put the coffee on - we...

If you enjoy meeting people, super affordable accommodations, don't mind earplugs or are a heavy sleeper and have a sense of adventure - book now! I've only been here two nights so far (booked for 7) and have met and chatted with folks from all over the world. My only real complaint is that there is no coffee :( not...

What a great hostel. Right in the heart of Canmore, just before Banff National Park. Great base to explore the Rockies. Rooms are well equipped for a hostel. We booked a private room with an en-suite as we were travelling with a young child. Very clean and well kept. Linen and towels were included. You have the use of the...

We stayed here for a week and a half in July. First, the prices. They offer weekly rates even in high season and the prices are some of the lowest in the Bow Valley. Anyone that thinks they can check into a budget option and not get a budget experience is kidding themselves. That said, the rooms were cleaned regularly,...

When we arrived the room was filthy, comforters had hair in them and the toilet was dirty. I can confirm with the other reviews this was the dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in. Even the Alta Lake hostel in Whistler during Crankworx week is cleaner then this place. Prior to my booking I sent them and email to confirm...
