we arrived Friday night, the lodge is so easy to find... comfortable accommodation, great breakfast and great staff in the mornings. We spent the day shopping and browsing in the shops in Canmore. We were too many for the culinary class so we got reservations and dined next door at the Tapas... an amazing restaurant.... came back and was able...

They have truly taken the best of Canada and the best of Europe hotel concepts and blended into one. The concept of breakfast included in your stay is European but this goes the extra step. The food was amazing, fresh baked and nutritious. The room was very cosy and comfortable down to the bedding, pillows and duvet. We parked right...

The Paintbox Lodge is a melting pot of ideas stolen from our European hotel experiences from our ski racing careers and the best of Canmore. The details of the hotel are a reflection of what is important to us. Amazing staff, locally sourced produce and environmental stewardship. We believe the simple things give the most pleasure. Would love to have...

Loved this place - great staff, a charming inn, and amazing homemade breakfast. Location is fantastic and decor is rustic but with all amenities expected. Will definitely return here next time my travels find me in the Canadian Rockies. My new favourite spot in Canmore.

I was just here on a girls weekend and stayed in the Artist Loft Suite. Service from the minute we arrived to the minute we left was amazing. Rooms are very clean and decor is cozy. Very intimate little place with mouth watering homemade breakfasts and a coffee machine like I've never seen.......had lattes every day!! We hardly had to...

This property is rustic with a laid-back charm that epitomizes Canmore perfectly. Absolutely loved the self-service coffee machine which is on par or better than any high end coffee shop, perfect to sip while enjoying the fireplace in the lobby. We stayed 2 nights in the Wild Suite which is directly above the kitchen - there was a private party...

Thank you for your review. The Paintbox Lodge provides complimentary breakfasts, hosts cooking classes and private dining. Expect to smell homemade food during your stay. Our Culinary Events wrap up at 9:30 pm to ensure our guests get a good night stay but the smell of great food goes along with the ambiance we hope to create. Be sure to...

My husband & I had the pleasure of staying 3 nights at this little gem in downtown Canmore, which is set-off any road so it is super quiet. Upon arriving, we were fortunate enough to be welcomed by the lovely Sara Renner and her gracious husband, Thomas Grandi. Chocolates from a local business, Le Chocolatier, were an unexpected surprise waiting...

We recently stayed in the Artist Loft Suite for a couple nights as part of our honeymoon. We were looking forward to our stay since we booked it, and had high expectations based on reviews and photos. Everything easily exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very friendly and personalable (including the guests). The breakfast is fresh every morning, and is tasty,...

Our mantra at the Paintbox Lodge have our guests experience Canmore like the locals do. We want people to have a great breakfast, feel comfortable in their rooms and cruise around Canmore on the complimentary town bikes and enjoy the vibrant restaurant scene. The simple things give the most pleasure! We are thrilled that we exceeded your expectations and hope...

Quiet, quaint, charming immaculate rooms, great decor and fabulous home cooked breakfasts in the middle of the outdoorsy centered town of Canmore. A real bonus is the ever-present very pleasant owner, a native of Canmore (well, 1/2 of the owners - a husband and wife team) went to the Olympics 4 times for Canada in Nordic skiing and has MUCH...

My fiancee and I booked the Paintbox as accommodation for our bridal party and couldn't be happier with the result. Both the gents and the women had enough space to get ready for the big day, and having a self serve delicious breakfast each morning allowed everyone to comfortably start their day at their own speed. The rooms are exquisitely...

No surprise the fresh sourdough changed your life! We recommend taking Cooking Class @ The BOX. We host a sourdough bread course with Aviv from Sidewalk Citizen and your life will never be the same! It was such a pleasure to host your friends and family and we wish you the very best on your new adventures together.

The staff at the Paintbox make the visit amazing. So friendly, beyond accommodating, happy and generous - they make guests feel like family.
