One of the worst hotels i ever stayed at. It is a dump Checked in and nobody at front desk but did show up The room they gave us was destroyed the headboard was missing on one bed and crooked on the other. Asked for a new room which they gave and not much better cracked tile floor in bathroom and sticky had to wear shoes the thermostat did not work well had to wake up several times to adjust the temperature Thought i would try the hottub but had no water in it Tried the exercise room that also is used as their stirage room. Went on the tradmill for 5 minutes till it just died no more power at all told them likley a breaker but they hod no idea

Apparently the rules don’t apply here, minimal signage about mask wearing should have been my first red flag. Staff at check in and check out not wearing a mask, hotel is overrun with oil and gas workers, all of them just lingering and ambling about the hotel maskless. Get up to leave early to hit the slopes in Jasper with my 10 year old, jump in the elevator, go down one floor, where we pick up 3 such workers heading out for the day, mask less, pile into the small elevator with us. First thing my son says as we leave to drive off “That was creepy, none of those guys were wearing masks”. What does this have to do with the hotel ... well obviously the staff don’t care, they weren’t wearing them, or asked the other guests to wear them, my assumption is any Covid policy they are supposed to be following at the hotel to keep all of the other guests safe is absolutely bogus. For a few bucks more you could stay in Jasper where I’m sure they take the hospitality industry and likely your safety a bit more seriously.

Stayed two nights with my family at the Quality inn in Hinton. We asked to be separated from the other two guests staying there. We were placed in between the two other groups. When asked to change rooms we were told the rooms were full, even though there were only two other cars in the parking lot and two rooms on the screen taken. The staff is full of liars and dishonest people. Make sure to get your reciept as they will charge an extra $25 on top of the quoted prices. Breakfast is 2 slices of bread and a yogurt in a brown paper bag given to you at the front desk.

Firstly our room was not made up so we had to get another room. A small inconvenience but understandable. Our second room was made up, however,,,,, the sheets carried the evidence of a great night of couple activities and needed changing. The toilet had a s**t in the bowl and the bathroom stunk. The bathroom,,,,, in the shower there was shaved whiskers tapped on the wall and the toilet bowl had splatter marks around the outside and on the floor. Remnants of an Indian curry meal. To top it of the room above us was entertaining their children by having them play wrestlelamia till 11pm. Overall a horrid experience. However the lady at the front desk was lovely. Save your $80 and sleep in your car.

I don’t know if this place is under new management or owners but quality it’s not. It started with no one at the front desk but when she came it seemed she had to deal with some problem so I let that slide she was friendly and apologized. This was the second stay here in the last month. They put my right above the main doors which you could here every time someone came through it along with the elevator right next to me. This time on the main floor. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbor is talking about. The hair dryer was sitting on the counter in the bathroom and the tub is so clogged by the time I was done showering it was half full of water having to rinse off before I got out. No Kleenex, everything was unplugged in the room and the key card paper holder they seem too cheap to give you a new one they just keep changing the number on it. I had to ask what does this say because it looked like a 4 but was suppose to be a 9 and used to be a 7. Just write a new holder! The last time I actually thought they had breakfast because the guy implied they did. Wrong, they had a little bag with 2 pieces of bread and a granola bar. If you can go to a restaurant and sit down and eat they hotels can go back to feeding your guests. Stop using this covid garbage to downgrade your services.
