Good hotel, but try and get a lake facing room as the others are a little uninspiring facing the road. Rooms onto the lake have a little beach to sit out on

Clean , car park was good, and easy walk into town and good restaurants close by

When I still traveled in my work, I stayed at Coast Hotels 4-7 nights per week, so I do consider myself familiar with their standards. We recently enjoyed a short getaway to Osoyoos. Other than the rosemary-scented body wash, which I love, there wasn't much about this experience that met Coast Hotel's standards.
The room was clean, the mattress needs updating, but it was the service or lack thereof, that was most disappointing. At check-in, the front desk person didn't even look up just "Credit card and ID".
On our second day, I couldn't find the housekeeping staff and there is no way to phone them from your room, so I went to the front desk to ask for an extra towel and explained I was going to shampoo my hair. The same front desk staff person said " didn't the housekeeper already do your room? There should be towels there". I explained we were a couple, only had two towels and I needed one more for my hair. Her response? "Well we don't have any here. You'll have to find the housekeeper," I said I would look again, but asked her to let the housekeeper know if she saw her.
On our second to the last day, the housekeeper didn't show up at all. When we returned to our room at 4:30 pm, I phoned the front desk to ask when we could expect housekeeping service. They said they thought they were all gone home and phoned back to confirm a minute later, and was about to hang up without apologizing or even asking if we needed anything. I asked if we could have some coffee packs for the next morning. They were delivered later, but without the necessary paper cups which are needed for thier system.
This location needs to step up its service if they are going to continue to benefit from the current high rates in the area for a basic room.

This hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach overlooking Osoyoos lake. It is within walking distance of restaurants and pubs in Osoyoos along with beautiful Gyro beach.

I highly recommend spending the extra few dollars to stay on the beach side of the hotel. The rooms at the front of the hotel face the road and lake but the highway traffic makes it very noisy.

The parking lot is small and the stalls are very small for pick up trucks.

The rooms are clean and well kept. We were in room 218 and it was beautiful along with the views.
There is a fridge and microwave in the room along with wifi and air conditioning.

The hotel offers free use of paddleboards and they have one kayak that can be used as well. I can’t say enough about the views from our room!

The hotel management and staff here are warm, welcoming, and helpful. The manager found us a very good low season rate for members, for a comfortable lake view room (I believe all or almost all rooms are lake view at this hotel). The continental breakfast is well supplied and an attentive staff person is nearby. We didn’t use the pool with water slide but it looked inviting.

Do not stay at this hotel. We normally really like the Coast hotel chain and find it consistently hood, but this one is not. The walls have no soundproofing so we could hear everything from the rooms beside snd above us. We were kept awake most of the night due to noise. We booked our room through Booking.com which we usually have good luck with. They advertised our room as a “dog-friendly room” for $149 and we assumed this meant the pet cleaning fee was included so we booked it. The hotel charged us an extra $25 on top of the $149. We could have stayed at a much more luxurious place for this price. This hotel was very run down and dated. The beds were comfortable which is consistent with Coast hotels, but there’s no point having a comfy bed if the noise keeps you awake all night. There is no one at the front desk through the night, so no one to deal with noise issues. We really would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay here again.

My sister and I visited during the week and enjoyed our stay. The location on the beach is great and would happily stay here again. The room could have used some soap in the shower but there was a full size foaming hand soap we used in lieu of body wash or bar soap. It was nice they had coffee and (processed packaged) muffins which could be upgraded for the price point for this hotel.

Loved my stay at this hotel. The grounds are kept immaculate, the room has a larger than average hotel fridge, very handy, the beds are comfy! The location is my favorite, beautiful stretch of beach, with some water toys, picnic table and ample sun loungers. Love waking up to a freshly raked beach every day. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops we needed, and the staff made our stay extra special by being so extra sweet and helpful. I would most definitely stay again.

We were disappointed in our stay. We paid over $800 per night for a 2 bedroom premium suite. The room was run down with the air conditioner super loud and front panel falling apart. The sofa had ripped seams and the vinyl hardwood floor was damaged in multiple areas. Also there were issues at check-in with our room not ready at 4pm and we had to wait another 30-40 minutes. Plus the room we were promised that was pet-friendly was not available, even though we confirmed three times with the hotel prior to arrival.

However, the location of the hotel is good with a private beach and the kids liked the waterslide in the indoor pool.

The hotel is on the beach which is private. Our room on the third floor, king bed, looked out in the lake. There were stairs leading from our shared balcony to the beach. The stairs were completely open, no gate so that anyone on the beach could just walk up to our room. There was nothing yo block the patio door so that the door could stay open during the night. We need not feel very safe. The hotel is in need of a major update. There is a lot of chipped paint, molding chipped, very tired look. The free breakfast was barely edible. We would not stay here again.

I am baffled by the negative reviews.

Our king water view room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our two night stay on the beach. The room was updated and showed no sign of age or wear. We had a bar fridge & microwave, desk with chair & arm chair with lots of room to relax and spread out. The coffee in the room was Starbucks, by far better than we have had in most other hotels. Great TV and no problems with the WIFI. Our balcony had two comfortable chairs and a table, facing a stunning view of the lake, surrounded by mountains and hills. The bathroom was clean and the shower water pressure was great. The soap and shampoo are Canadian products in large bottles, definitely more environmentally friendly than the mini bottles offered elsewhere.

We watched the hotel beach front being raked in the mornings of any debris that had washed up overnight. There were lots of chairs on the beach to relax on, and water equipment available for rent. The common areas, carpets, pool area, reception area were clean and the staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Judging by the large parking lot, the hotel was full both nights and yet it was very quiet for sleeping.

I did not see anywhere on the web page that the hotel offered a free breakfast, and we had no problem finding an excellent breakfast each morning at Ambrosia Restaurant down the street. It is an easy walk from the hotel to the main street for shops and restaurants.

We pass through Osoyoos every year on our way to see the grand kiddies and wish we had tried the Coast hotel before. We will be back, and next time we will stay longer to enjoy the stunning view and the relaxing beach.

Good afternoon, We supply beach towels in the months of July & August only. We do inform the guests who request beach towels on the other months that they may use the pool towels for the beach. Yes, every room has a fridge. The suites have full fridges and the rooms without kitchens have bar fridges.
