Great place to stay. The rooms are clean and fancy. The location is amazing. There is so much to do around the Lonsdale Quay. It's great to have the water taxi close by so you can adventure to the downtown night life like hockey or football games
Nice and quiet boutique hotel situated in a great location surrounded by all the great restaurants/breweries/food choices. A good relaxation staycation spot - must use the freestanding bathtub in the room!
We stayed at the Seaside Hotel in the N Vancouver Shipyards. We purchased one of their many offers; ours had Capilano Bridge tickets and breakfast included. I can not say enough about the beautiful hotel, great location, amazing food and TOP NOTCH staff. We felt very spoiled and cared for by the staff. Our room was so well appointed with amenities, a decedent bed and floor to ceiling windows. The area is filled with fun- ice skating rink, shops, restaurants and other activities. We had a dog friendly room, with a view of the water. Everyone in the hotel learned our dogs name and made him very comfortable. Besides being in the Shipyards, the hotel is close to Capilano, Grouse Mountain and walking distance to the 15 minute ferry to the city (Vancouver). The email response before our stay and after has been impressive. We love this hotel and the staff, you can’t go wrong staying here!! The Faught’s…
Everything about this place is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Onsite restaurant and tiny bar serve delicious food and fun cocktails. The location is perfect; a slice of "big city" (shops, restaurants, etc) with a beautiful view of the water and downtown in the distance. Staff is fantastic! First rate. From valet to front desk to dining. Beyond pet friendly, with beds, bowls, and treats! Everyone is very warm and genuinely focused on guest comfort. I've stayed twice here and it's now my go-to when in the area. It's a great getaway for business or pleasure, solo travel or groups and families. Highly recommend.
We stayed here as we had to bring our dog in from Kamloops for a ct scan. We loved that it was pet friendly they even provide dog bowls and a bed for the dog. Our whole stay was absolutely wonderful we will definetly stay again. The staff were all so friendly and helpful every request we had came quick and the never seemed annoyed. We asked for a late checkout as our appointment was behind and they were more than happy to accommodate we even decided to stay another night. The location is perfect. Better than expected you walk out the door and the pier is right there with amazing city views. Not to mention the ice rink in the middle was nice to watch. Beds were comfy water was hot. There are a few really good restaurants just steps away in the plaza so there are options. We ventured out of the plaza and there are even more retardants nearby highly recommend fish works. A few things to note. We had a hard time finding poop bags as we ran out. There at some by the pier in front of joeys but none at the hotel. If you have a picky pooper for a dog like ours there is no grass anywhere. So 3 am washroom breaks are terrible. We would still stay again just be aware no grass. There is a park but it’s a little bit farther than we expected. Some of the bedside usb’s did not work so be sure to check your electronics if plugging them in to make sure they work. There are a few in the room so I found another but did wake up to a dead phone not realizing the first one didn’t work. We stayed in a king room with shipyard/partial ocean view The view was great but not what we expected. We assumed shipyard meant an actual shipyard. You are right next to seaspan however you do no look at it from the room. The plaza with the ice rink is called the shipyard. So your view is the plaza. We still enjoyed it but just be aware if you’re not familiar with the area, you can see the ocean if you are standing at the window looking left down the plaza. But that is the only time you can see the ocean hence the partial view. Took us a minute to find the switch for the shades as it is located by the door and not the window it self we did figure it out though just took a bit . The only real downside was the toilet paper it was super thin. For such a nice place some thicker toilet paper would be nice and a designated recycle bin. Other than that we loved it and are already talking about making another trip down.…
We loved our stay at the Seaside Hotel. The location is perfect (we walked the seawall, visited the Lonsdale Quay, took the sea bus to Vancouver) and the service was excellent. Our room was spacious, comfortable & beautifully decorated. The bed & pillows were perfect - we both slept better than we do at home! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
The room was well appointed, very modern, clean and bright. The staff were most accommodating and we felt pampered and appreciated as guests. The location was great and close to shopping and Bus service.
Everything was beyond my expectations! So personable, went the extra mile from the hotel employees including the valet to the breakfast staff! They veganized our meal and it was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and welcoming! We hope to return soon! Thank you Seaside.
1 night stay, Rooms were clean and had modern decor style to them.Had a great view of the quay from our room. Hotel service was good, forgot our wine opener and the bar was happy to open it for us. Only downside was the mini fridge did not cool at all, beers stayed warm for hours and hours, Ice was hard to locate, employee had to get it for us.
Great luxury place with super clean and new furniture and so friendly staff! The view was amazing overlooking skate field The location was great and few steps away from water, in general so happy with my stay and 10/10 would recommend this place
