Spacious and well cleaned room by Housekeeping. Very decent place. Front Desk and miscellaneous staff is very courteous as well as Manager. It is just steps away from main avenue and bus stop and minutes away from main attractions in the area as well as a few minutes ride from Vancouver downtown. Very good and fair value for the rate.

A good price and a good spot to go venturing thru the city. I am glad i spoke French, it impressed the owner of the place that someone from so close to Mexico can get across various things. I say stay for the price and get your adventuring minds going as you have a safe place to stay in the... More

This two storey motel has a larger property with an outdoor pool in the middle. Lots of parking. I was greeted by two friendly staff members. This sits within a short walk to three restaurants on Marine Drive. The room was clean and roomy. The price was good. Free Wyfy and a continental breakfast. I will be back.

I booked a room for my 2 Aunts and a friend...3 'Senior' Ladies travelling together. The internet booking advised that a Cot was available...I booked the room, including the request for the Cot...HOWEVER I ALSO SENT A DIRECT EMAIL (FRONT DESK) ASKING THAT THE COT AVAILABILITY BE CONFIRMED. A great location with very good staff. Friendly, professional and efficient. Tried two rooms before getting one that was barely acceptable. This motel complex has seen better days, and although it has been upgraded in the past decade or two, the beds, fixtures and floors are all in need of urgent replacement. Reasonably priced for what you get, but other... More

Our stay at the Grouse Inn was part of an organised roundtrip in British Columbia, starting in Vancouver. On the first and last night of this 2-week trip in September we were planned to stay in this motel. In short, it's not a decent place to start or end your holiday. Although the staff at the reception desk were friendly... More

Very economical choice for a place close to most Vancouver attractions, and yet set in a much quieter location away from downtown. Easy to get to - at the corner of Marine Dr. & Capilano Rd.- 2 blocks east of the Lions Gate bridge. Many restaurants nearby, esspecially in the Lonsdale bay-side market area and a great pizza place at... More

Two night stay in august. No complaints here! Clean, friendly, all our needs met. The location was perfect for us and price was fair. Breakfast was kind of meh but it is just continental. Pool was clean and good temperature. No issues with noise. Would definitely stay again!

Adequate is the way we kept describing this hotel. Our room, the lobby, the breakfast area and the pool and parking area were clean. The television, refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning and WiFi were dependable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had protein (hard boiled eggs) in addition to the usual offerings. The pool had a fun slide and... More
